Not only has CNN refused to make their app functional, they have broken it altogether. It is impossible to scroll without auto clicking to a story or ad. They have also done this while implementing more paywalls. Completely useless app. that is designed to drive away users.
Need subscription for too many stories

When you click on a story, you need a subscription. What a joke. No warning that story needs subscription before you click on headline.

It’s sad to see that CNN has turned our trusted source for news into a money grab. I would think that you would want people to have the facts. CNN used to be my go to for trustworthy reporting. Now I can’t afford to use it.

Now you need to pay to see all but a few articles. After years of stomaching miles of really annoying clickbait on the app, I don’t really feel like paying. I DO pay for Jim Acosta’s Substack though!

I used to like CNN very much. It has now changed to a pay per view.
The ability to show your news per one’s personal interest, no longer exists for the free version at least .
After watching 5 videos or perhaps trying to watch select content, the app tells you that you have reached your limit and cannot watch the content.
I am deleting this APP. There are free news APPs out there like BBC, NBC, MSNBC. Going to them unless they change…. Then it will be YouTube.
Go back to free articles! Or charge a lower rate!

Otherwise this is a useless app that will have to be deleted. I can’t read anything anymore! A pop-up appears even if I haven’t opened the app in days, saying I’m out of free articles. This never used to happen! I’ve had to move to MSNBC, ABC, etc. to read the news. Thanks for ruining what was a great news source!

This was my go to news source, until they started charging $30 a year to be able to use it. So be warned; if you download this app be prepared to pay $30 a year to access the content.
