I’ve used RadarScope for more than a decade on my iPhone and iPad and happily pay for the highest tiers. It’s the best weather radar in the App Store hands down. This is what all the storm chasers are using, it’s what meteorologists use in the field, and it’s flat out the best option on the market. No one else is close (and I’ve tried several). I live in tornado country and every year, without fail, Radarscope helps keep me aware and up to date about storms around me and when to take cover. There are a lot of radar apps out there, but there’s only one Radarscope.
Refund!!
By nicki.minaj.I
this app is completely false and doesn’t deserve the rating it has, only get if you’re willing to pay another 10-20 dollars to actually unlock the rest of the app. i paid 10$ to only have access to a tenth of the app. everything else required pro and pro2. i would like a refund due to the false advertisement of it being number one.
App uses fictional name for historic location
By Ceci@cicero
Only in the United States would a business that touts its scientifically dependable and accurate data bow so low to appease an American politician by using the term “Gulf of America” as the historic location known worldwide for hundreds of years as the Gulf of Mexico. I’m not going into a political rant but some things ARE written in stone like the name of the state you live in, the names of the oceans and the planet itself. You should not comply with the nonsense ‘orders’ of one mortal who doesn’t have even a shallow knowledge of history or the right to arbitrarily change any of it. I worked for years in an FAA flight services facility and was happy to buy the basic app for radar and alerts. As well as maintaining ILS, ATC comm and ground navigation equipment I also maintained weather info gathering equipment and radar into ATC facilities. Any ATC can tell you that nomenclature is VITAL in communication. We don’t arbitrarily rename radio fixes or cities for political purposes. The Gulf of Mexico is not a football stadium. You don’t want your pilot or your brain surgeon to introduce themselves wearing political merch and if a radar data app incorporates political nonsense into its maps, its quality is immediately suspected to be flawed in some other way.
Waste of money

Just a money trap. Have to get pro to get anything useful
A little recommendation…

Make this app available on apple CarPlay if possible so we can see radar on the display on a screen in the car if a screen is available so we dont really need to look at our phones or buy a stand when we can just use carplay!
Thieves

I purchased this app a very long time ago. Since then the developers have slowly taken away the original capabilities I had using it. I used to have all the Tilts available. Now only one. I used to get all the watches and warnings. There were a host of functions that I had and they took them away which is theft. What I originally paid for is not what I have now. That’s like buying a car with a ton of options and every time you take it in for maintenance they remove an option. I’m sure my states attorney generals office would like to take a closer look so I filed a complaint.

Overall a Good radar App
By Sarge17481
I have used this app for quite some time and find it helpful in identifying the severe weather activity on my phone and my iMac. The resolution is better on my phone but gets "foggy" on my iMac, I guess the screen is too large to display the detail. Overall a good app if you like to stay on top of the weather danger zones and where the circulations are and severe weather.
