Why do I have to choose my favorite teams every time I go on this app? Never had to do it before

It’s really frustrating that every time you open the app even if it’s only been 10 minutes it takes you all the way back to the home tab and you have to start over and click and drill down to wherever you were. I don’t know if this is done on purpose to make you see more ads or if they just couldn’t do a basic coding thing. But either way it makes me not want to use the app and I’ve started using others.

When going into an individual event/game, the notification "bell" icon does not do anything. The "bell" icon is the one next to the button for "Join the Discussion". Nothing happens when pressing this button. It used to open a menu for receiving notifications about the specific game such as "score change" or "close game" or "final score".

What’s the point of customizing my favorite sports if Yahoo is going to just put whatever they want on the score page and I have to find the league/sport myself? I don’t want to see MLS or WNBA which is why I didn’t select them. Fix this!
Disappointing changes

Why don’t team records show any more in the “My Scores” section? Very disappointing.
Add D1 college hockey, men and women. Add PWHL.
Update 4/11/25: I did what the developers told me to do - submitted to customer service that team scores have disappeared. That was a couple months ago and I haven’t heard anything back from them. Team records are still not present. Decreasing my rating to 2 stars. I think it’s time to start looking for another app.
Update 5/16/25: Extremely disappointing, STILL no team records in the My Scores section. I have made sure my app is updated, logged out and logged back in, deleted and reinstalled the app - no team scores. Customer “service“ completely unresponsive/nonexistent.
App freezes on open ALL THE TIME

As in the title, sports app with good coverage, that unfortunately requires you to force close every 20 seconds in order to use

Freezes 1/2 the time you try to check a box score. Spams you with 50+ alerts a day, 90% of which are worthless.
Got rid of the widget

Mainly uses this app for live update widget to have on my home page. Widget is gone now, so app is gone from my phone lol
