What is going on with all the ads? I am a paid subscriber and the number of ads breaking up articles is ridiculous. I love the reporting and rely on the times for accurate thoughtful news but I’m starting to hate it because I can’t get through an article without ads breaking up the story every two paragraphs. It is annoying, disruptive and really creates a negative experience. Please stop!!!

Even though it’s mocked by some as “legacy media” is still the newspaper of record in the US for the news it chooses to cover

In times like these when truth is essential we depend on our news sources more than ever. The New York Times is more than a reliable source of information, it’s a guiding light, in fact, a lifeline through the dark. I can’t imagine asking for more than what you provide. Thank you so much.

Even with a paid subscription half the screen always shows ads. Frustrating to read and scroll through. Cancelled immediately.

Once was reliable, objective, unbiased, scholarly journalism now is pure garbage and left wing propaganda.
