Replit

I’ve been using Replit to launch Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and it’s fantastic for that purpose. The ability to quickly set up, code, and instantly see results in the browser makes it an excellent tool for prototyping. Plus, sharing projects with others—without requiring any setup on their end—is incredibly convenient. I have encountered some bugs, particularly with Flask, but to Replit’s credit, they have been resolved fairly quickly. The platform’s responsiveness to issues is a big plus. Overall, Replit is an invaluable tool for getting an MVP off the ground, but for scaling and intricate feature development, you’ll likely need additional resources. Still, for what it offers, it’s a powerful addition to any developer’s toolkit.

Doesn’t really work. It sets up the basic framework for a potential app, but when you get to functionality it totally gets confused and endlessly chews through credits while producing nothing worthwhile.

Best AI coding model ever tested. I do use for production and daily testing and it’s really good. They’re constant updating everything to make it even better.

I had signed up for a Black Friday deal for three months of discounted service and there was a billing issue that caused the third month to lapse. When I corrected the billing issue they would no longer honor the pricing from before. Switching to Loveable going forward.

I feel defrauded. Trying to build a very simple workout tracker and it had to be constantly reset everytime I opened it.

I’m not using this to do all the work, but I LOVE being able to start building out an app in minutes whenever I’m on the go. I can always head back to my computer to finish it off.

Keeps looping on verification

Where do I even begin? I first started using Replit because they made deploying a web app as simple as one click. Before that, the only real option was Heroku, which was way too complicated to configure for the average developer. Replit completely changed the game for me. It became my go-to IDE for personal projects because it let me focus on what I actually love—writing code. All the messy DevOps stuff that used to make launching and managing web apps a huge headache (and pretty expensive) was suddenly not my problem anymore. I have a regular job as a Python developer, but I love building little apps for friends and family on the side. Replit made that easy. Then they released their Agent, and I haven’t been able to stop using it since. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until it helped me turn my long list of project ideas into actual working apps—in an afternoon! I’ve always had ideas for fun things like word games or tracking expenses for family vacations but couldn’t find the time to build them. And as a backend Python developer, learning front-end frameworks like React always felt like too big of a hurdle. But with the Replit Agent, even though it’s still early in development, I’ve been able to create fully functioning apps in about 30 minutes to an hour. What used to take me months—if I ever found the time—now takes me less than a day. It’s wild. Of course, the Agent isn’t perfect. It makes mistakes, and you have to be ready to troubleshoot and test to make sure everything works how you want it to. Sometimes adding new features breaks things or doesn’t quite turn out right, and undoing changes can be a bit tricky. But let’s be honest—building web apps is hard even under the best circumstances. The Agent has already saved me a ton of time, and it’s only going to get better. Replit is making web development fun. They’ve brought together everything you need—cloud resources, modern frameworks, and the power of their AI agent—all in one place. I have used Replit for years and they have improved so much! Amazing for company’s and people learning to code.
