splyt: tab & bill splitter

I have tried many bill splitting apps. This has been one of my favorites. My friends have also started using it. It is extremely user friendly and does a well job in capturing receipts and splitting it. I also love that it’s easily customizable to receipts that may have some other service charges that are added that are harder to capture in other apps that I have used previously. Highly recommend downloading this app!

Wow my friend got me to try this app and I’m never going back. Definitely buying the paid version. Super fast, user friendly, and easy to share. Finally something that works!!

I love this idea and it definitely works well. The only thing that is annoying is I want to be able to just spit the bill on MY end without having to invite people. I picked up the bill at a restaurant and days later my friends reminded me to charge them. I remember exactly what everyone got and partook in and want to be able to just assign the items to my friends quickly on my end just to calculate what they owe me, but i HAVE to invite my friends to the bill in order to do that? I just want there to be a way to skip the invite step and be able to use the split function to avoid the awkwardness of sending my friends an app invite just to do the calculations

I made a subscription but it does not work and it shows that I still have the free version. There is no contact information for the developer to help troubleshoot or get a refund. What a waste of money

i’m always going to big group dinners and lunches and this is by far the best app to use to pay for exactly what you got. I love the pre-split feature for shared items so you don’t have to wait for everyone to find out how much you owe. not to mention the tip/tax is applied to your subtotal so you’re not paying extra. it’s very quick and easy and directs you straight to venmo to pay :)

This app is a game changer for anyone wanting to collect credit card points on a big bill and not have to worry about everyone paying their part!

Firstly, there’s a limit to the number of checks you can split within a month without paying for the app. That almost made me delete it. What finally made me delete it was that you can’t just select what your others got manually—you have to send them a link so they each have to do it themselves. I don’t want to be the person to ask my friends to each check their phones for a link after dinner to select what they got at the restaurant so they can send me the right amount. I’d rather do it myself and ask them to send it to me once I’ve got it figured out. Seems like all this app cares about it increasing its user base and cash flow. Not surprising, but definitely annoying.
