    Bought the “road to Hana”, it couldn’t keep up with the driving. Some of the stops were talked about well after we passed them. It took about a minute or longer to restart we started driving after stops. FYI- mostly every stop is paid or paid and requires a reservation.

    This was absolutely the best way to tour the North Shore. We rented from Turo and downloaded this app and was able to easily navigate the North Shore and all the must see places. This app is a must have. Very good directions and lots of knowledge.

    It would have been nice if you could travel clockwise or counter clockwise. Right now trip is being offered in one direction which doesn’t make sense to me.

    Tips and directions were spot on, made the trip so much easier. Would definitely use these tours again. This is a huge help for a first time traveler of this road. The app picked up right where we left off and never lost connection.

  • Neat concept but absolutely useless

    I was so excited to use this app during our Maui trip! My husband and I found the guide to be interesting but the app is useless in practice, as it must be the active app you’re using on your phone for it to work properly. That means no looking up other information, looking at maps, or taking pictures. If you open a different app or let your phone go to sleep, the playback of the guide will stop and you will miss things.

    We were unable to use the app at all. The code was never emailed and the app was totally useless. I feel the purchase should be refunded but no response to email. Do not recommend.

    We did all four tours in Kauai. This allowed us to see all of the island, recognize and understand local things, and entertained us! We did the tours the first four days - went back to do some things on different days. Loved the hikes and the stops on the route. Rained a lot when we were there- wish we had taken trekking poles for the muddy trails- slippery! Wish we had more days as it would be fun to hike more and spend more time on the beaches! It was great to check out all the beaches via this tour and then we knew which ones we wanted to spend more time hanging out on. The tour includes information about bathrooms (or when you won’t have one!) and if you need to bring your own snorkel gear for certain beaches or if they rent. Appreciated the details. Also the details on rigor of hikes, how to modify them and trail conditions. Highly recommend!!!

    This was the best find when visiting Kauai. We did the 4 tours and saw things I know we never would have seen or found. The directions were amazing, tells you all the turns. The stories and music are great. The only thing I would add is the dress code for the monastery, otherwise, I can’t wait to check out the tours on the mainland in my own backyard!

    We bought the Maui package and spent the last two days doing the Road to Hana, Sunrise at Haleakala, and the Maui Western Coastline. It made each trip so much better and clued us in to stops we would have never known about or considered! We look forward to using more of these in our future adventures!
