I’ve used this app everyday for over a yr and love it. I especially enjoy that it has a lot of fun features for tracking and breaking down monthly reading trends, etc. There are great community options for reading, but also this is a wonderful app for those that prefer to read independently. It’s straight forward, easy to use, and customize, and user support is always super fast, and helpful. A great app for independent readers who like to read, review, and see their own reading data. I recommend this app to everyone because while there is a social element of that’s what you enjoy you also aren’t forced to engage with it in that way. 10/10 no notes!

I started my reading journey with this app last year after having an immediate distaste for the leading book tracking website where I would add book to my TBR and an hour later getting an email from Amazon suggesting I buy that book. Other apps are either trying to sell you the books as well or feel more like social media, which I feel is leading to overconsumption. It’s such a breath of fresh air to have an app I can go to on my phone and not be met with ads and influencers. It feels like a safe space when every other app makes you feel like you’re the product. Also, the graphs are so cool to see. It inspires me to read out of my comfort zone a little bit just to add some variety to the graphs. So many great community features as well. I just can’t say enough how great it is.

I looooooove this app so much, it is exactly what I was looking for. In terms of offerings it is a 5 star app and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. Unfortunately half the time I try to use it, the app won’t load and I have to keep trying until hopefully hours later it will work. Obviously this is frustrating when I am wanting to log something. If they get that fixed I have no complaints.

This app is amazing. I’ve used it for a little over two years now and I fall more and more in love with StoryGraph everyday. The app is always changing and improving and as a frequent user, I love that! I will always recommend StoryGraph over Goodreads any day, or at the very least, use both apps!!

I love StoryGraph. I love how good the interface looks and how easy it is to set up and follow goals. I usually have a hard time putting down the things I need to do in order to enjoy some time just reading, but I feel motivated to read with StoryGraph, even if it’s just a chapter.

I was really excited to try this app out but when I downloaded the app it wouldn’t work for me. I kept trying to sign up and nothing would happen it would reload to the same page and nothing would happen, i gave up for a bit out of frustration, thought it was a glitch or something and I let it be for a while today I decided to try creating an account straight from the website and I did, the website works fine and I was happy about that so I went back to the app to log in and now it tells me my email and password are invalid. I logged in through the website on my phone just fine but for whatever reason the app won’t work for me which is a bummer.
  • Kinda cool

Cool idea. It is very not intuitive to delete a book from your currently reading list though. Sometimes, a book just isn’t worth finishing and the app makes that impossible to do this from the currently reading page of the app

Love that the developer is always listening and rolling out updates. I’ll be enrolling for premium.

StoryGraph is the most user-friendly book tracking & organization that I’ve used. The UI is modern and clean, featuring bold charts and graphics integrated into community book reviews and user data. The personalized stats are what really make this app stand out. While I think the app is great, there are a few features I’d LOVE to see in the future. 1. Better ways to organize your library. Other book apps allow you to create book shelves and categorize your to-read books. This is a major feature that is missing from the app at the moment. 2. More versatile search features. Currently, you can search books by title and author, or discover books through StoryGraph’s recommendations. I would also love to be able to explore books by theme, genre, mood, etc. 3. More social interaction. It’d be nice to have more ways to reach other readers, perhaps in the form of a community “home page” where you could browse through others book notes, comments, etc. Thank you!

I have shamelessly been trying to get everyone on this app. I love that they don’t bombard you with ads, that they’re a small team, that they listen to their users, and that the app works flawlessly for non-paid subscribers. Here’s a disorganized list of things I love about StoryGraph: I work with data, so I get a huge kick out of the granularity of the data interpretations offered for even basic users. My family and close friends have become accustomed to unprompted deliveries of my monthly summaries. They’re aesthetically pleasing in addition to being fun to evaluate. The recommendations are solid. Before StoryGraph, I struggled to get good book recommendations. What was being recommended by Amazon Kindle and GoodReads just never landed well. The writing was usually not what I was looking for. After StoryGraph, I haven’t experienced a book rut and always know what to get at the library next. The challenges have been really fun! They are a great way for me to read more. It encourages me to be a braver reader and I love how much more I’ve been exposed to because of it. What I don’t like: Pie charts, mostly on principle.
