  • Poor date handling

    Every single birthday shows one day off. Makes the app pretty useless when it can’t get the one job it has right. Without that major bug, this would be a pretty decent app. This is still a problem as of Feb 2024. I will update my review if this is ever fixed, but as it is right now, nobody should pay for this app without checking if their time zone is also unsupported (anyone west of GMT is likely going to have the problem) They said they will fix it as soon as possible in their response, but the problem persists with no fix. Their FAQ says the birthday off by one issue is fixed, but it is not. Do not buy this app. Not they put big full screen ads for their other products. Definitely an app to avoid paying for. Update Sept 2024: They just responded that it was an apple bug and that it is fixed, but there is no way it is an apple bug (I was manually entering dates, not contact importing. As an iOS dev I know that it isn’t true), and it is NOT fixed with the latest release. Still an app to avoid paying for, especially with the obnoxious full screen ads after paying for the experience.

    Date wheel is off. When entering someone’s birthday, you have to set it to the next day in order to show up correctly in the list. Example: birthday is July 31, 1991.. I had to set to to August 1 for it to reflect July 31??!!

    I’ve had this app for a little while, and it was great at first - but in the last 6 months or so, new imported birthdays from my contacts are a day off - eg you have a contact with bday July 6, the app shows them as July 5; tried to manually add some to the app directly instead of importing, and you have to do the same thing inside the app ??? If you want someone to have July 6, you have to set them as July 7. Figured this would’ve been reported and fixed quickly, but just ran through reviews where folks reported it, the developer responded talking about it being important, but the issue is still there - recent review had a response in January from Dev, and still not fixed 7 months later.

    This would be an amazing app except that the date is one day behind. It says my version should have fixed it but it did not. Don’t buy until you’re sure this has been fixed.

  • Even with 1.8.4 imports incorrect date

    Imports date before the date stored on the contacts. The support page says it was fixed in newer build but is incorrect. Even after deleting all entries in app and re importing.

    This is absolutely the worst problem you could have with a birthday reminder app, the date put into the app shifts a day for some reason and so all the birthdays are wrong! Ive uninstalled.

  • Love the app, but…

    I love this app, but I recently reinstalled it (it was automatically offloaded) and the dates that are pre-set in my phone’s contact list are at least a day too early in your app. When I try to fix it, I set it to the correct date, and it bounces to 2 days before the person’s birthday. I’ll hit Save, because it won’t let me set the correct date, and it bounces back to 1 day before the correct date. Please fix this! Again, the dates are correct in Apple’s phone/contacts app.

    Love the app, just have a suggestion to make the app more useful - can you add the ability to change the "type" of event?The different groups are super useful but I would like the ability to add anniversaries, unique family holidays, or any other "type" of event and it seems like it would add a lot of value to your product and be an easy addition? Thanks!

  • I lost my lifetime inapp purchase😡

    I made a lifetime inapp purchase and after a few days had to uninstall it to clean the phone. Later when i reinstalled it my data was missing which was backed up to my iCloud. In order to restore my data i was suppose to press the “RESTORE” button to get all the pro features back. But the problem with this app is it does not have a “RESTORE button”. I think it’s below the pay button. But the problem i am facing is, my phone is an IPhone SE 2016 and since the screen size is small. The “RESTORE button” is not appearing on the screen and the payment page is not allowing me to scroll either to the bottom of the screen to press the “RESTORE button”. So now my data and purchase is lost. I tried using the SUPPORT section of the app to contact the developer but it seems the developer is least bothered to reply to my mail sent. ~ Will edit my review if i receive any reply from the developers. I suggest you readers to not download this app as its free version is totally waste only 7 birthdays you can save and it doesn’t support iCloud sync in the free version. The support system is horrible. No reply to my issue till date. Don’t buy the pro version unless you don’t mind wasting a couple of bucks. 0 star for this app. 👎🏻
