While the widget functionality in WidgetPod is well-designed and enhances the user experience, it’s disappointing that it requires a payment to access. Not everyone has the financial means to pay for app features, and it would be more inclusive to offer an alternative method to unlock the widget—such as viewing ads or completing simple tasks. Providing a free, ad-supported option would allow more users to benefit from the widget without excluding those who can’t pay. It’s a small change that could make a big difference in accessibility and user satisfaction.

when i change the settings on my home screen to “tinted,” the color of the widget inverts. Meaning that the part of the “vinyl” that is supposed to be black, is white. the song on the vinyl also does not update on my home screen for months at a time. i paid for pro and i’m disappointed

Honestly for a couple years now I enjoyed this app. But lately I’ve noticed people saying they lost access to their Pro version they made a one-time purchase for. However, for me, every once in a while when I tap on the widget, it’ll say that I need to access the full Pro version for a few seconds and then it’ll disappear. What’s funny is I still have access to fully customize everything and still says I have the Pro version purchased. Now with this latest update, I’ve noticed whenever I pause a song using the onscreen controls and then unpause, it starts the song all over again no matter where I’m at in the song. I’ve resorted to not even using these controls at all until this is fixed.

Honestly I’ve only had it for about ten minutes and I like it a lot I’ll probably update later if my opinion changes

Only downloaded this because I saw a youtube video of someone using it to put a record player widget on their home screen. I couldn’t even open the app or try to make a new widget because, no joke, every 5 seconds an ad would pop up. I downloaded and used this app for maybe 2 minutes, I had 4 ads pop up in those 2 minutes. Nope, deleted. Scummy! Don’t download.

Great app, terrible price. Let me pay like 30 bucks and use the full app. I hate subscriptions

I spent money on this app for pro and it keeps telling me i don't have it. I try to press the restore purchases button and it doesn't do anything at all. when i come into the appstore and look at pro it's grayed out and says "purchased." now i just have a huge lock over the widget saying i need to purchase pro. not fun, very nerve wracking.

This is a cool concept but due to this company’s greed taking over. You actually aren’t able to configure everything because Ads take up entire screen every 2s and a bunch of pop ups. Makes whole experience not great. I’d look elsewhere to be honest.
