  • Excellent tool, but don’t let it be your only one

    This app is super helpful in terms of testing your own knowledge and familiarizing yourself with your strengths and weaknesses. I’ve used this app primarily to test where I’m at and what areas need some work and with such variety of questions, it is very helpful. I recommend pairing this with some other form of studying such as reading, flash cards, etc.

    Absolutely invaluable tool to passing the NREMT. It prepares you for the different styles of questions and gives you some insight on how the test words questions and how to figure out what answer the question is looking for. Definitely worth buying the full version at least for a few months before taking the exam. The basic version gives you a good idea but the paid version isn’t that expensive compared to other study formats and has loads of questions.

  • Conflicting ?s, nothing like actual NREMT exam

    I am seriously at a loss as to how the developers made this exam and say that it’s at all a prep for the actual test. Questions had incorrect data causing wrong answers, conflicting information, like saying one thing in part 1 of a question, then if you make a decision in part 2 of the question based off their reasoning for part 1, they say it’s not indicated. Freaking infuriating. Also, the format of questions is completely off and nothing like NREMT. Not only is this app useless, but it makes you mad while studying while not making you better prepared.

    I used this app religiously to study for EMT-B back in 2023 however. I’ve since moved on working on my Advanced and well I can’t exactly do that now. A lot of the information on the Advanced EMT portion of the app is just wrong. With the addition of having only 1 exam it’s hardly worth paying for. The pros include you can study on a laptop which helps simulate the testing sites. The cons include some information is incorrect/outdated. One of which was treatment of flail chest they recommend binding the chest with bulky dressing. (Hint don’t do that anymore). And the addition of some most of my coworkers recommended against this app. This app is great but just for Basics not for anything further up the ladder.

    Honestly, I don’t make reviews often, but this app really helped me like I mean as of 2/12/25 I’m an EMT and studying this really helped. This isn’t the only thing that you should be doing to prepare, but it’s one of the many things that you can use to prepare along with reading your EMT. I will say, though I feel like the material could be updated to some newer versions, but I mean most of it was still pretty accurate to what I was learning.

    This is hands down the best studying tool that I used for both my NREMT and NREMT-P tests. I felt as though I was well prepared for both. I passed both tests on my first try and I fully believe that it was because of this study tool.
