Terrible app made by tinder to try and milk Christians. Verification software is terrible, profile is barely shown unless you pay for their premium model, waste of time.

The age filter works, but trying to filter by smoking habits or denomination doesn’t work at all.

Hello! I love Upward! It’s a great app and the easiest to use, love the community too! If I could make one suggestion… To move the placement of the “report profile” button at the bottom of every persons page. When you’re at the bottom of someone’s page, your thumb naturally rests on the exact spot “Report” is at, and after a month of using Upward, I have accidentally hit the report button like 100 times by now (luckily it never went through). I think just flipping the placement to 👇 would be more beneficial… so I’m not accidentally reporting someone. My sister deals with the same problem. Back To Top Block Report THANK YOU!! 🙏

Downloaded it last night and it already doesn’t work. I can’t log in. Tried restarting my phone. My only option is to delete it and reinstall or wait for them to fix whatever bug they introduced yesterday. And the matches are all 200+ miles away.

Same profiles show up over and over again and your distance filter doesn’t work. I have it set on 20 miles and it shows me mostly profiles from 300+ miles away.

Waste of time and Money!!!! Don’t waste your time! Looks like a promising tool to meet a fellow Christian partner but you have to pay to do anything. Once you pay, the real profiles are shown. Not the ones you think you are matching with that lure you in. This is NOT worth your time or money. Settings get changed and are not saved so it looks like you’re matching with a lot of people but they’re not who you’re looking for. Don’t do it! Go find someone at church!

The app will practically show you everyone who is on it no matter how far they are. You can set your preference to a certain search radius, say 30 miles, and they will still show you people over 100 miles away. One person was 400 MILES.

They claim that they’re free app. Yes, the app is free. However, once you have it, you are locked out of almost everything until you pay for it.

Never matched with anyone yet I have 7 likes locked behind a paywall. Shouldn’t i be encountering these people naturally through the app? Typical exploitation of men for money, thanks for reminding us that that’s really what matters. Very Christ-like of you all…..definitely predatory. $20/week is your lowest 1 time payment option?? Get real, you’re no better morally than any other “dating app”
