Force payment through Apple

Great app, but can’t use it unless I’m subscribed. Can’t subscribe because it forced you to use Apple payment through the Apple account. So if you are like me and are under a family plan, the payment will go to the main account holders card
Community no more

Wish they at least left the old app alone. The new app is a mess, the community has abandoned it.
Going from free, open-source, community-driven app to this, ad-filled desert where you’ll have to pay $60/$100 a year to access basic features such as search. Even if you pay, you’ll find the community that built the old app (myself included) has left, there’s nothing but a desert around you.
Buggy

The free version of the app os very limited but it's so buggy I don't want to be paying for a broken app
Doesn’t work

Downloaded and paid for the app and it doesn’t work. No matter what the filters are, it has no results. Nothing to explore except the map. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I had the first version a long time ago and used it fine. Maybe there’s a trick to getting it to work but It’s not intuitive. Totally bummed out.
It’s okay

Some things are better, the pop up over the screen ads are beyond annoying. The must pay for it to be not annoying with adds feels like a big cash grab from how solid the original app was. I dislike how hard it is now to see city and town names. The bubbles block them all out. Land boundaries are less clear. I dislike being forced off a nice wonderful app that I have used for 10? Years to a new app that is hard to read, hard to plan ahead on, and has annoying pop up ads that are hard to remove or not always clear on how to close them without clicking junk you don’t want.
Useless unless you pay.

The old app was incredible, we used it for month long trips finding last minute spots. Now if you open up the app you won’t see anything, no camping spots no camping sites, no nothing. I’m sure if you pay it will work as advertised, but to give us a free app we’ve all used for years and to update it where the app is essentially broken unless you pay for it is enough for me to never pay for it and to advise everyone else to do the same
this is why we cant have nice things

i used to love this app but of course someone just can't leave things alone just had to mess with it and make it harder to use? oh boy now instead being able to just look at the map while traveling now i need to remember to download specific areas! smh, why would you go and mess with a nice, well working app? so dumb
Very sad

I was an avid user of ioverlander, it made my lifestyle so much easier. I already pay for multiple camping membership apps, I cannot afford another app, especially when it has less data than the first version, and rarely provides me with tangible results. I held off as long as I could downloading, but after a few disappointing uses Im deleting them (so many saved places lost on the first version☹️) for good.
New edition is horrible

Great app for people like us who spend a ton of time traveling and don’t like to stay at campgrounds. Thanks for responding to my earlier (less positive) review and giving me the tips I needed to more successfully utilize the app!
