I love this app but there’s one thing that keeps me from using it: I forget to review as soon as I’m done eating. It would be great if there was a way to “check in” while I’m waiting on my food, then the app could prompt me to review and record thoughts with a push notification about an hour or two later. This is dumb, I know, and I could just be better, but even still, this is keeping me from using the app.

The app’s concept seems sound—interesting and useful, even. But its nagging for my entire contact list and the seeming inability to share my lists outside of the platform make an otherwise good idea look chintzy.

Love the app! Spent way too many hours on my first day of download. Branding wise I would personally invert the dark teal background and do a big “B” as the app icon logo. Has so much potential!!!

I love everything about this app. I do have one small request though. You should make a separate “category” (like bars, bakeries, etc) for chain restaurants. Or even, allow users to create their own categories. It just feels so strange to see Chipotle nestled between my favorite fine dining restaurants.

I recently got the app and have had lots of fun rating places I’ve ate and also looking at what my friends rate their restaurants. I think the auto ranking system was a good addition and takes the hassle from users trying to self rank. I feel like sometimes we can be too severe with our decisions and rank higher/lower but the auto rank system does help give a less biased score. Some improvements I would like to see on the app are having DMs and being able to go directly to a review. I think Beli would profit significantly better if it had more of a social media layout with personal messaging systems where we can send restaurant suggestions to our following list. This helps keep everything in one place and prevents users from having to text/verbally say recommendations to their friends who potentially may forget later. In addition, I think it’d be neat to be able to directly to someone’s review on their profile so you can interact with it instead of having to individually text them if you have differing opinions or want an elaboration on the notes typed.

Love this app to track places I’ve been to and can see where my friends have gone and what they liked and didn’t like, especially looking at the map view. The only thing is now that I’ve ranked a good amount of places, when I’m ranking a new one, and have to chose between two, I can’t remember much about the older place. It would be super helpful to be able to see my notes and photos from it. Otherwise I either click too tough or have to exit the app and goo to Google maps to jog my memory.

I like this app, but I think it can be improved. Scoring should only be based on restaurants in the same category/type of cuisine. I know I can filter restaurants by type of cuisine, but the ranking is still based on how the restaurant compares to others that may not have the same types of food.

We sat at a high top overlooking “the kitchen show”. All the fresh food looked gorgeous as it came out. We ordered a lot and shared. I particularly liked the Branzino and the bread basket ( blue cornbread with a side of honey butter🥰) delicious
