With the most recent software update, every time I try to go to the online Lobby the game crashes.

really nice digital version of a solid worker placement legacy game. would be 5 stars if you had the option to create your own map from scratch for single games, but the campaign was fun to play through
  • Online play no longer works

Thus game used to be fun until online play stopped working in the middle of a campaign. It is now impossible to log in and play. Has the app been abandoned by the developers?
  • Buggy and unplayable at times

Bought to play with friends across the country. Super excited for a digital legacy game. Tried to play for the first time and the game crashed an unbearable amount of times before we bagged it. Curious if others have had the issue. We tried a combo of stream and iPad, so maybe that was the issue. Want app to work because the game looks great.

I bought your game and a month down the road you are going to force a data collection policy on me? I don’t agree and I cannot play the game?
  • Great implementation of a great game

This is a gorgeously realized version of the cardboard game, with nice UI, plenty of cute animations, and pretty seamless online multiplayer. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once you start to dig in there’s a very deep strategy game here, with lots of twists and turns as the campaign plays out. Nicely done. The digital format is great because it allows you to try the different charters to learn how they play out. Async is a great way to pass a long quarantine with friends, as long as people are patient. Definitely not a quick game
  • Won't open with latest update - Do not buy

See original review below. We were so excited about them fixing the crashes that happened multiple times per game, until we realized that the fix was to keep us from playing the game at all! Latest update will not do anything other than shutting down the game. I am sick of this and wish there was a way to get our money back. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Original review here; We bought this game after playing it with our son but using it on our iOS 10 iPads it crashes three or four times per game. Also, the game is rather slow and clunky in its operation requiring unnecessary steps. Overall a great concept, but needs polished significantly.

Played a full campaign with zero bugs on my iPhone 11. It *seems* if you have an older iOS device you may run into problems. I suspect this may have something to do with certain SDK elements not present in older iOS systems.
  • Good game...some issues

Quality board game and made with panache, but sadly it was stuck midcampaign, where the same game is being played over and over again (where you have to clear perils for the king). Not sure why it stopped advancing but i did manage through repeated plays to advance so perhaps it was a temporary bug or due to some edge case in the outcome of my first attempts to play. I did finish the campaign. Enjoyed it a good deal. I would recommend wholeheartedly except for the concern of bugs that can halt progress inexplicably.
