  • Seriously impressive, a hidden gem

When I saw the 29¢ price and no data collected, I purchased Gem instantly. Honestly I just wanted to support a dev who makes a clean looking app and doesn’t charge $15 a month. Then I was blown away by the quality, like this is a really, REALLY well done app. For a lot of apps I think the terms simple and minimal sometimes gets used as an excuse to have bad UX, missing features, or an ancient UI. This app however is simple in concept, simple to use, but feels well thought out, very complete, and like it had real effort put into its functionality and appearance. Dev, I can’t believe you chose to charge 29¢. Like even 99¢ and no one would have ever complained haha. As someone who is learning to develop and has ideas on how to do things differently though I really respect it. I hope this app gets more and more attention because I want to see what else you can build. (I’ve never wanted the ability the follow a dev on the App Store before now lol) Feedback: Search bar for icon view would be nice. Also I think there is something a little unintuitive about how the app responds when setting a balance on an account that also has a transaction already logged that day.

It’s user friendly. I’d say get it, but I don’t know how much you’d trust an internet app rater. :/

Simple, easy to use - perfect for someone who doesn’t need an unnecessarily complex solution like the other ones in the market
