Hopeless will not let me login just keeps cycling the login screen

I am an English learner who wants to subscribe to a centre/centre-left newspaper. This is a fairly reasonable price for me as they’re also games to play

The “latest” feed seems to be frozen for the last few days, just showing some inane “premium” lifestyle stories instead of breaking news. Cannot recommend.

Gotta love developers.

Why it wants me to sign in ?

Please for goodness sake provide news that is not tailored to be from a US perspective. Would like to read news from the UK.

I just want an app to give straight news. This app requires you to sign in and they’re very open that they’re going to share your info with whomever. There’s no opting out or skip method. I can’t actually tell you the quality of the news because I won’t play their phishing game. Make no mistake, albeit subtle, this is phishing.

Love real news, without biased nauseating drivel. Like the Faily Mail. Horrible wriggling and twisting warts they are.

Disappointed that the app defaults to US-based for the news while the commentaries are UK-based, and that there's no way to change the setting and see UK-based news. I do not wish to be viewing detailed US news like what the President has just done or said hours ago. There also doesn't seem to be notifications. This is itself bad, though it's at least a relief that I do not need to be bombarded with US news.

This seems to be a random assortment of old articles from an excellent publication. The newest offerings are a week old and many highlighted articles are months old. I can’t believe they charge money for this.
