ATK app is great! No matter where am at, I can open the site and grab a recipe. Wonderful recipes😊

I made this recipe as written and we thought it was as described by ATK. Lots of flavor and using the lemon pieces was really interesting. It is quite lemon forward, but I love lemon so it was perfect for me (and my husband loved it too). I did add a small amount of extra chicken broth as I was simmering it because I felt it was getting a little thick, but it was a minimal amount since I didn’t want to dilute the flavors. Also, key point that the chicken was tender. Will make again for sure!
  • A good app but I can’t adjust the font size

It is a good app but I keep going back to the website where I can zoom on some details of a recipe. That is an important aspect of this app, in my view, the ability to zoom. I hope this will eventually be addressed and those of us who are over 40 could easily see whether the recipe calls for 1/4 or 1/3 cup.
  • Can’t even create an account or log in.

trying to create an account on the app and it just goes to a blank white screen in app. Type in email tap continue then white screen. So currently unusable for me.

I have payed for these recipes for at least 5 years. The recipes are absolutely amazing but this app has just become unusable. It glitches and works terribly every time I open it. Every time I try to use it I end up getting aggravated and close it out, open it back up and it does the same thing again. Unbelievable. Yes I update it regularly.
  • A step forward, a step back, one foot still stuck mud.

The good: Credit where credit’s due: they finally brought back dates and sources for recipes. This is immensely helpful. Sometimes theres multiple similar recipes with similar names (did I make the Best ____, Easier, or the Ultimate last time?), this really helps me keep track and organized. This is great. The same: There’s still no dates on the equipment reviews. This is a big oversight, since a reader might want to take a decade old review with a grain of salt. Another issue is that the printing quality and options are still better on the website vs the app. The website lets you format your printjob. For example, you can cut out the photos and the article blurb to save ink. The app has none of these options, and defaults to a small font size that’s harder to read. Yes, it sometimes prints out a page shorter than the website, but you can usually use the percent scaling option (even on iPhone) to break even and still look better. Finally, I’m not a huge fan of having all the ingredients listed down the left hand side. It’s very annoying when the list goes on to multiple pages, and I have to keep flipping back and forth to find my ingredients. The bad: They took away the comment section for equipment reviews. Helpful comments aside, the comments were a great way to judge how old an article was, or to see if there were any updates. And sometimes, there are problems with products that escape testing. Shocking, I know.
  • Best website for recipes that work

I’ve checked out what feels like a million websites for recipes, new ideas, and instruction on cooking techniques and America’s Test Kitchen is the best, by far. Every recipe works the first time you use it. The flavors are great, and the instructions are really clear. I would definitely recommend it for any level of home cook.
  • Worth it

Well worth the subscription cost since it helps explain cooking techniques (and the why behind them). The kalbi Korean short ribs were perfection.

Pretty good app if you’re a fan of Cook’s Country or ATK. I like the fact that the staff does answer some of the questions in the comment section.
  • Dark mode please

Great company and great app. Mainly wish the app had dark mode (for Apple devices). Also on the wishlist would be the option to scale recipes/ingredients up or down.
