  • Subscription cancellation

    I bought the 7th day pre-trail. However, when I went to cancel on the 6th day there wasn’t an active subscription for BetterMe in my apple subscriptions so I decided to go on the physical app and try to cancel the subscription from there. Yet, again when I tried to cancel my subscription it transferred me back to my apple subscriptions and again there wasn’t an option for the BetterMe to cancel. I took pictures to show proof that I wasn’t lying. I emailed BetterMe where Joshua emailed me back stating that there won’t be any further charges as it wasn’t meant to renew and offered me another deal to continue their service. He also stated he was looking forward to hearing from me soon about possibly taking the offer. I emailed Joshua back to decline the offer and I wanted to know when would my refund of $30.99 be going back on my card… It’s been 24 hours since I sent that email and I haven’t heard anything back from Joshua or from BetterMe.

    You guys committed fraud & charged my account at approximately 11pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024. I have never purchased a free-trial/subscription. There is no receipt of subscription from apple/google pay. There wasn’t even an account set up through this app for payment information. I do see that you have done this to many others so this qualifies for a class-action lawsuit related to cyber fraud. Especially if this is a company that operates overseas. Feds may have to get involved. I will also contact Better Business Bureau to investigate this app/company and confirm the legitimacy & compliance under federal laws, rules & regulation. You ought to refund me money right away. This is obviously illegal and I have enough evidence to get this entire fraudulent company shut down, The Feds involved and the people behind this arrested.
