I can't recommend this game or this company. Two and half years with Kabam have convinced me they are one of these game companies that disdain their players. Kabam wants gamer money and is overly aggressive in its pursuit, but it refuses to acknowledge the problems that players face in the game. My background: I'm a level 91 player in a competitive top-ten event guild. I've spent over $3000 on my Shop Titan entertainment. In other words, I have experience with Shop Titans. My primary complaint is the apparent lack of fraud prevention infrastructure that would support players changing their sign-up email addresses. You read the right. Players can't change their original sign-up email without losing their game progress and all purchased licenses. When I inquired with Support about this issue, I received misleading instructions to join Epic or Steam, neither of which could resolve the problem. Support then accused me of attempting fraud for simply requesting to change my email. When I took it up on Shop Titan's discord server, management banned me for failing to "cooperate" with their questions about who told me to go to Epic/Steam. Management failed to cooperate with me or answer my questions. I was already leaving the game due to the lack of fraud infrastructure, so banning me on their Discord was redundant. When the game is gone, I will be, too. Life moves on after games. Meanwhile, I am left wondering: if Kabam's fraud prevention infrastructure is this weak, how exposed is the information collected on me to fraudulent activity, given this threat to my game investment? It's a hot mess, and I recommend spending your entertainment cash and time more wisely than I have. I regret my time in Shop Titans. A game is not worth playing or spending on if your investment can disappear when an email option closes. The company itself is not worth interacting with if a problem can panic them so easily, and they are so aggressive with a customer when my game investment is at stake. Kabam's corporate culture is often distracted by new projects not involving Shop Titans, and this is evident in its recent confusing work and ill-conceived event planning. Kabam recently posted that they "aren't distracted" from Shop Titans; they are just "busy with other projects" -- one definition of "distracted." As I began this review, I don't recommend starting a game with Kabam and certainly not fooling around with Shop Titans. Kabam won't change to save my game with them, and I concede that the battle is lost, but at least I can help others avoid the same journey I've taken with the company. • Good, but costly

Love the game, but once you start playing a bit you realize you can’t unlock majority of the cool item lines without dishing out some serious cash. For example, gaining access to build guns and crossbows would set you back $30, and wands? Well that’s another $20. It would cost you easily over $100 to unlock all of the special item trees, which is more than a brand new AAA game. I understand money has to be made, but $30 for two item trees and some gems is really outrageous. Game would be 5 stars easily if the prices weren’t so absurd. Most of these items should be base game anyways. I’d buy the packs for $5, maybe $10 a piece at most.
  • $129 to access full game

The game is good, but it’s not just a pay for extra bonuses. In order to do the challenges (without the battle pass) to get all the rewards you have to pay to unlock shops. All together to play the full game without a battle pass it’s $129 which is stupid for a phone game. You could buy two fully developed games on Xbox or PlayStation or like 8 on PC for the price to play this game in its fullest.
  • There is no customer service

If there is an issue, no matter how small. It will take weeks to resolve. There is no customer service just reply bots, and every response will take at least three days. When you do respond to them (usually for more information and upselling( we need a receipt!) the clock starts again, so at least 3 days. Been trying to add an email to my account. Took over a week for them to tell me no email (which I knew). And been 5 days of waiting for them to add or even tell ME how to add. I guess the next step is to go on social media and complain. Maybe that will work? Why even include a contact us feature in the game if it’s just a dead end?

The game is not recognizing my purchase of the monthly Royal Merchant pass. I was charged but am not receiving any of the perks! I have reached out to support multiple times in game and online and I have not been helped! Give me the perks I paid for or give me a refund!

This game is fantastic in so many different ways. I have followed it on and off for three years, and in that time, the quality of life, attention to detail, and overall feel of the game has gone from great to incredible. Additions of the tech trees, the ability to buy blueprints with antique tokens from the collection book, and the continuous drive to provide us with more tiers of items and content all around is just awesome. For a little game, it is surprisingly complex, and looks and feels great. Customizable in every way, every choice you make is what makes your shop YOURS. This game could be just another run-of-the-mill shop tycoon, but it’s not. Every item has a 3D asset, the champions have stories, the workers have tech trees, the layout of your shop is customizable, the organization of the items on your racks is customizable, gems are not a P2W resource and are given out abundantly in events, the champions have their own THEME SONGS when they come into your shop and you talk to them…the list goes on. Guilds motivate similar-level players to band together to make their shops greater, providing awesome micro-communities. Premium workers are nice but not necessary. Events are fun and challenging for low-level characters, though I do think some balance changes are in order with the introduction of t14 and t15 items. Overall, this is the best shop game on the market by MILES.
