It is a process to use-but very beneficial if you do. Grocery list is great-turns out you buy the same things all the time amd you can say buy or not as you wish. Recipe modifier for size is very useful-just make sure the numbers make sense. And the recipes don't get wet and covered in tomato sauce that make the ink run.

Paprika is a truley all in one recipe card program. I've been using it for at least 6 years and over time have downloaded pr added over 1700 recipes. This program makes it so easy to share these recipes with other when requested. I use the grocery cart each time I'm out shopping and combined with the pantry this saves me money by not having to second guess what I have on hand.

I've been using Paprika for many years. It works so well across all platforms. I depend on it to keep my recipes for meals, drinks, etc. The browser option to import recipes is flawless as is the syncing between devices.

This app allows me, my daughter, and my sisters to save, adjust, and share favorite recipes. I like that it allows photos. I wish it would do a better job making fractions look right, but you can't have everything.

I seriously don't know how I manged before Paprika. I have about 700 recipes saved in the app. I use it to plan meals for the week, something I never thought I would do, but the app makes it sooooo easy. Then I create my grocery list from the menu planner, and it's automatically sorted by aisle. And when I shop on Monday I get everything I need, then on Wednesday when I forget why I bought scallions I can look at the meal planner and figure it out. Or, maybe I don't want that food for dinner any more, so then I search Paprika by ingredient and see what other recipes I have stored that use scallions. YESSSSSSSS! I love this app, I really can't say enough good things about it!!!
  • Best Recipe/Shopping App Ever

Love this app, can't imagine how we managed our recipes and created shopping lists before we started using Paprika. It's wonderfully efficient - plan the meals, then create the shopping list, do the shopping together, each of us checks off the items we got and the other is instantly updated! The import from web pages is excellent, just a few web sites need some post-import editing. Having the recipe open on an iPad while cooking is perfect, page stays open, spills are easily wiped, can check off each ingredient as you get it, love it! Love that it syncs across iMac, iPad and iPhone, edit on iMac, shop with iPhone, use iPad when cooking, perfectly in sync at all times. Big on my wish list is: 1. Import recipe from PDF file. 2. Import recipe from Apple News articles (this is where we get magazines like Food & Wine, Southern Living, etc. 3. Import from Amazon Kindle (where we buy excellent recipe books) It's possible to use cut-and-paste to do those imports from PDF, Apple News and Kindle, it's just painful to do relative to the ease of the web import.

We love Paprika and have used it for years. We still have our old recipe box and cookbooks. But for our favorite recipes, online or in print, we make sure to add them to Paprika so when we are out shopping we know what ingredients we need. Also when we are cooking we can both have the recipe open on our phones while working in separate parts of the kitchen. You can import recipes from a URL although that doesn't always work. Great online way to store our recipes!

I have tried many other recipe managers. Paprika3 is the very best ever. It is easy as pie to add the extension to my browser and then, adding recipes is literally a click away. The downloaded recipes format correctly - the grocery list feature is perfect, and the meal planner is a godsend. Can you tell I love it?
  • Is this app dead?

There hasn't been an update to the app in a year. Bugs are starting to popup. Should I switch recipe managers before support for the app is totally dropped? What's the deal? An update would be appreciated. Thanks
