I’ve found this recipe manager to be a pretty good one. I use it on both Mac and Windows, and ease of use is pretty high. It is pretty smart about reading times & ingredient amounts. The http recipe import works quite well too. I have the paid version and have ~500 recipes in it, sharing between both platforms, with no issues. What it could use that it does not seem to have are an ingredient & nutrition label printing feature (if I wish to label baked goods to indicate presence of nuts/gluten/animal products, as well as carb & fiber counts), though I can’t find anything with that feature anymore.
  • LOVE--but would love some updates!

I've been a Paprika user for many years and have even convinced people to use it! I feel like, aside from bug fixes, there have not been substantial updates and there are several features that would greatly improve the app. - Change the category/make certain edits without going into full edit menu (i.e., change individual ingredients so they are formatted better for grocery store, add/remove from categories, rate, add quick notes) - Sync with other list-making services like trello, asana, todoist, or allow for export that would work with any of those services - export recipes as PDF (paprika files can't be texted and opened, even by paprika users) - Better detection of ingredients (i.e., 1 onion, diced, and 1 onion, chopped still appear in grocery list as "onions") - "Add to menu" along with "add to grocery list" button - way to import pantry from csv file or similar - general better pantry management - More sophisticated scaling - for instance, if I have 1 cup of heavy cream, adjust recipe to fit to those proportions
  • Brilliant. Simply Brilliant.

This is probably the best single piece of software I have ever purchased and it keeps getting better. Easy to convert from many other older tools. I switched from Mastercook maybe a decade ago. Before that, it was A>Cook. Yikes!
  • Mostly Love the App

I would like a quicker way to get to a recipe in the list like the alphabet running down the side.
  • Wow. This app is exactly what you want

Only downside is recipe sites, some want a subscription, others ads. Overall a super useful tool with shared grocery lists and menus.
  • EVERYTHING in one astounding App!

I never rate stuff. But when an app is so good it blows me away I have to. I cook a lot, have tons of recipes in every form all over the place. Can never find the ones Im looking for. This is super fast, super easy and lets you change stuff, make your own categories, shopping lists, etc. My favorite is that many recipe urls make you sign up to get the recipe, while this just goes in and scrapes the data (I'm assuming) and then formats it to the app. Its REALLY THAT GOOD!!
  • GROSS WASTE OF MONEY

The Mac app is $29.99 but in order to sync your activity to your phone they’ll REQUIRE you to spend an additional $19.99. You’re joking right?
  • Great App!!!

I have been using the PAPRIKA app for close to 10 years now. It is a fantastic app for collecting, organizing, and syncing all your web recipes between desktop, tablet and phone. It has built in browser funtionality that allows for very simple migration of recipes from web to PAPRIKA. Additionally it allows you to add a link to the app in your browser's Favorites allowing for the same one-key recipe capture and download funtionallity. Finally, the developers keep improving PAPRIKA and adding greater functionality. i have tried a number of their competitors and PAPRIKA is by far the most comprehensive and the best reciope collection aand organizatioj app. I truely love this appand rarely run acrosssomething that I can get it to do. LOVE THIS APP!
