  • Works, but a bit too simple

    I have a UN55RU7100FXZA and it works for when I don't feel like finding the remote or need to type a password. However you can only use the keyboard for typing, I wish there were keyboard controlls. The interface seems to make more sence on a phone than on my mac. The Arrow keys are on a different page than almost every other control. There is more space on the screen so I don't really know why there even needs to be more than one page.

    Don't listen to the bad reviews of this app. They are old. This app not only connected right away, I've been able to do everything the regular remote could do.

    Yes, the TV and my MBP are on the same network. Maybe update the app so that it works? Until then, I guess you have my money. Nice.

    It connected to my TV nicely! But, the interface after connecting leaves something to be desired. Why do I have to switch between panes for control? Why can't I use my keyboard arrows on the normal page? There are a lot of ways this could be better.
