After an OS update yesterday, the app is back to normal, works great again!
I’ve happily used this app for years on a 2d gen IPad Pro, but recent update has made it unusable.

This is the best weather app I’ve used. I can quickly access the data I need without having advertisements distracting along the perimeters of the screen. There is so much data! Wind, rain, snow, weather stations nearby, alerts…this app has it all.
