You have to pay for a voice that won’t sound AI which I thought it said it was totally free (for realistic voices). It was really easy to set it up though. But, when I scanned the pages for it to be read, it would skip a few words/sentences and not read in the correct order. For example, the AI would skip over the “for example” part and read a sentence. Then, go back to it and move on to the last sentence it just finished. Confusing at most but not horrible.

I can screenshot any PDF on my iPad and then create a little book of all the pages and it reads it all! I can close the I iPad and it continues to read! :)

I clicked the free trial and thought I was charged immediately, but it was my mistake. UPDATE I WAS NOT Charged, lol it was something else it just seemed like it was this App! But this app is not useful for myself but worked ok for the 2 pages of the medical article I read!

Fair warning but this is 139$ a year and does not allow you to pay weekly so WAY too expensive for an AI when you can listen to audio books for free on a library app as well as on YouTube. Plus the books are limited to only what the AI knows. So if you had an author of book it wasn’t aware of it wouldn’t work. This isn’t worth the money in my opinion and it took nearly 10-20 minutes to get through the introduction. I was forced to sit through the set up just to see a ridiculous fee. Support your local libraries it’s much cheaper and you can rent audiobooks on their apps some even have the cinematic versions to listen too.

Don't waste your time downloading this app unless you wanna pay a huge price tag that they hide until you answer a bunch of questions.

Tried to cancel but the instructions don’t match the screens. There’s no cancel button under my subscription. Tried multiple ways in the app, on web browser and by chatting with customer service.

Literally everything is behind a pay wall. The maximum speed, the voices that are not robotic, and skips. They start you with a set up but then you get in and if you don’t pay nothing you choose stays. It’s expensive and as a struggling college student I can’t afford to pay their prices. Although I don’t think anyone will see this review since they hide the low ones, I wouldn’t recommend this app for the price and especially since people are saying it skips or freezes at times. It better be perfect for the price you’re charging.

When reading a kindle book the words get dropped, and shuffle around to the point where the story becomes incomprehensible. I’ll take my robot sounding voice from Kindle, over not understanding what is being read. I can’t imagine using this for work. One positive though, the voices do sound good. The technology just needs more work.
