The number of fake requests that show up is absurd. Real users making fake requests and using chat gpt to help them. Tons of fake email addresses. “Verified” phone numbers that lead to a dead lines. Feels like a total scam. Genuinely a waste of money and time.

I do not have any input for Bark the product as of yet. I’ve only reach responded to one inquiry without a hire. I’m here to ask for improvement on the iPhone app’s interface. I have two recommendations - if I delete an inquiry, don’t send me back to the top of the search page. Keep me where I was on the scroll. The other request, allow me to favorite or heart an inquiry so I can come back to it later. I’m browsing the inquiries as much as the customer is browsing their replies.

Way too many fraudulent posting. If you’re looking to hire people to work for you this is a better option than looking for clients on this app. A bit pricey to acquire credits to communicate with potentially clients as well

The App used to be my go to for new business but with price increases and the ads trying to make you pay for membership it’s not work worth it at all

This app will diminish your ROI. Stay away from it.

With a response rate of 1 in 10 and a hiring rate of 1 in 5, that means for every lead they generate, you’re only getting hired 1 in 50 times. That runs about $500 per lead. We’re a 5 star verified DJ company. I do not recommend DJs use this app. When “potential” customers that want you to “contact” them according to Bark only respond 1 in 8 times. Sometimes they return credits, but it’s really poor that they can’t verify these people we are paying them to verify every month. Either get us real people to work with or face a potential lawsuit for scamming us.

I just paid 6499 for the credits that you have to use to unlock a lead. The lead was to garden a 12 x 12 area and plant some tomatoes. That lead cost me over 50% of my credits which is essentially about $40. I do not recommend this company.

In 2021 I did book a few legitimate gigs through bark, but now in 2025, it’s a total scam

Since I use Bark app over the year got only three new clients. I do not like Bark policies about No response from request or ( please improve this ) because I spent not $100 to get in touch with leads and got big ZERO. Also, recently there are so many leads that are frauds, people are posting their phone numbers and asking for services. I bought one of those leads, at the end of conversation person asked me to cash his check and share with him the amount. This is totally FRAUD.

This business/service is essentially a scam, you pay a significant amount of money to get “leads” for potential clients/customers, however the majority of these “leads” aren’t legitimate at all, the rest don’t usually pan out, so you pay Bark to do your own cold calling without any guarantee of return, leaving this review is the last chunk of time I’m going to be wasting on this garbage, do yourself a favor and don’t waste any
