  • Wish I could put negative stars 😕

Absolutely terrible- I’ve used them for a few years now, not really consistent with dropping but still a good amount of songs, I recently dropped an album an they said I had fake streams tho I paid for promotional services what I used was far from fake or bots. Anyway they emailed me an said I was being fined for it, didn’t let me appeal in any type of way and proceeded to take money from my lifetime earnings. When I inquired about it they told me “The fines are non-negotiable and applied automatically, making them irreversible. We wish we could do more to help with this, but this decision is final. Thanks for your understanding. Best, Patti amuse.io” Like that is ridiculous, I’m so over it! So from my perspective in conclusion I would use DistroKid or united masters!!! amuse is on something else 😒
  • No support/no help

They will take down Your music in a heartbeat without explaining what you did wrong. Email support is almost nonexistent. Instead of explaining to you what you did wrong and how can you fix it. They will just pull all your music down. They will eventually tell you the terms of service nonsense without even understand what happened. Read the rest of the ratings and you will see that they do this to a lot of people. There’s one individual who’s been with the for six years and you would think they would contact him and help him if there was something going on. You have been warned to stay away from these people.
  • Good, but others are probably better

It works, but the cover art restrictions are very strict, I can’t put anything into the art that isn’t in the title which I think is annoying because other distributors don’t have the same rule. It takes a while for songs to get approved. If a song isn’t approved they won’t let you change it, they make you delete it and restart. Every time I refresh the page I have to sign in again which is super annoying. The payment has a 3 month delay, which means you won’t know how much money you made until 3 months after making it. The customer service is totally trash, it takes 3 days for someone to respond and most of the time they’ll just tell you to give them more information and then they’ll text you 3 days later after you reply. I haven’t tried any other distributors because I’m too far in this one but I’m 100% that there’s better distributors out there. (Try DistroKid)

There services is too poor they don’t have email contacts where u can reach them they don’t respond to the channels they provided for support. This is the most useless distribution site anyone can think of, I made a withdrawal for the first time they never emailed me if the withdrawal was successful No withdrawal receipt or slip I can present to my bank for evidence. I have messaged them several times to the support channel they provided no response. The money I earned from my songs is now going to be lost because I don’t have anything to present to my bank. Am going to take all my songs down and use Another distribution
  • Pay to regain access

Amuse decided to make a permeant membership for the site before being free, meaning any income and access to songs published through amuse can not be accessed until paid membership

Don’t use Amuse. They don’t have a support team other than an AI that doesn’t understand what you tell it, and it should tell you a LOT that my attempt at a detailed review has been deleted from the app store like five times in a row. Use DistroKid or TuneCore. Yes it costs more upfront but in reality it costs a lot less and isn’t a scam.
  • Customer Support is nonexistent

Im sad that I have to write a review but they won’t respond to any form of communication. Ive been using Amuse 6 years. Ive paid for it the past 6 years and constantly been uploading music. Ive expanded to managing different artists this year and have dozens of releases between different artists. We went to create a new artist and to release a song and without notice the entire account was permanently suspended and ALL ARTISTS AND SONGS were removed from all streaming services. All because they didn’t like the name of the artist. Very harsh treatment on a long time Amuse customer. Could have been solved with a simple email. Ive had 0 issues in the past and all music and artwork is under my copyright. Also they cancelled my membership without a refund. Update: Reached out to them multiple times since last week. No response through email. No response through the chat on their website. Also nothing was ever released for the artist. Nothing was noted for what term was broken. Communication could have solved this issue if YOU had a problem with a release. Second Update: After 10 days I finally received a response with no help or new information since the last email. I was told I have multiple copyright strikes from my music. I created every piece of music and have documentation of everything and they don’t care. I would not invest into this company.

hi. i’ve made music and been releasing it for 4 years almost. ever since ive been with amuse as my distributor. Even at the very beginning, i had issues. my first time ever releasing, my release date passed and it never came out. i emailed many time for weeks and nothing came back. i almost quit then. when i decided to put out more music the following year, it was worse. I had songs removed from stores and never put back after trying to contact them for months. i paid to have my music on all these stores they ARE gonna be on the stores. It’s really the support team. it’s never been great or useful. i’m usually better off forgetting about whatever problem i have with them. My last complaint is the sheer amount of brain power i gotta put in just to make sure my release comes out. it should never be this hard to fix a release that didn’t come out or anything simple like that. but amuse has NEVER helped me after all these years.
