    Takes forever for the app to open and disconnects every time which prevents me from actually using the app.

  • Sometimes my alarm doesn’t go off

    The light therapy and sound machine are helpful, but I don’t find this product reliable enough. Today, the alarm didn’t go off, but the light did. As a result, I ended up waking up 45 minutes later than I wanted, which isn’t ideal for a product that offers an alarm clock service.

  • App is horrible now

    Wow! I used to love the sound machine and recommended it to everyone. Never had problem with the app with my older Hatch. I received another one for baby #2 and this is a newer version Hatch and the app NEVER WORKS WITH IT. Like never ever :( I won’t be recommending this sound machine anymore unfortunately. Or at least not unless the app is fixed.

    As the title says. I love the sounds and lights the hatch displays. I love everything about it, except this app. The “routine” is an excellent idea with poor execution. I am hopeful one day the app will be simplified and more fluid.

  • Too “smart”

    My biggest beef is that the device has gone overboard with the smart features. Every time I try to set a schedule (green light in the morning so my little one knows it’s ok to be out of bed), it loses its connection to the app and has to be reset, which isn’t quick. This results in it not working most of the time. The sound machine and light can still be set manually, but we really got it for the green light alarm feature. I would much rather manually set something that doesn’t need a constant WiFi connection or app connection and have it work every time. Wouldn’t purchase again.

    App doesn’t work and cannot reset device. Also. And remove device from the app. Worked for 2 days then stopped working

  • The old version is better

    If I were to rate the old version I would rate a 5, but this new version SUUUUUUCKS!!!!!!! Y’all tried to make it too “fancy” and it just is awful. The simplicity of the original was much better. It’s not because I don’t know how to use technology… I’m get well versed with technology, but it is just too much. Also, the fact that I have two different systems to use my different devices is also awful! I recommend the Hatch to anyone and everyone, but honestly now I say, “I like it, BUT……”

  • Unable to edit or alter anything.

    I have no way to edit my unwind or sleep routine, and there’s now around 17 steps in my unwind routine with no way to delete them. There’s no “three dots” for me to press, it literally just always says create a bedtime ritual. I was so excited for this product and want it to work, but it feels completely unusable at this point, I don’t understand.

  • Light is great, app needs work

    I have never opened this app and had it report the correct status of the light color and sound or allow me to change it. Every time, it requires closing the app and opening it again, taking several seconds to discover what should already be a paired Bluetooth device. The physical hardware is great, though.
