I love the Hatch and the app. …but I’ve had it for a couple years and I feel like nothing is updated. The same alarm sounds and sleep sounds. I hope you guys start updating these.

Previous versions of the app with the +\- buttons was much more intuitive and practical. With the new versions, a natural action is to slide the brightness or volume bars with your thumb. If you’re right handed, it means you’re likely also blocking the visual display that tells you what volume or brightness the Hatch is being set to. Seems like this version might also be going through an A/B test? Thought I saw the +/- return, but I might be mistaken. Anyway, the fine increment stepper buttons were great. Please bring them back.

We love the app, but would love some new age sleepy time music added to the library

Ever since they updated the app I cannot turn the sound up in the app. I’ll try to turn it to level 58 and the app turns it down to 56. I’ll try to turn it to 60 and a few seconds later the app adjusts it to 55. I have to manually go to the device and press the up volume button. Why couldn’t they just leave it the way it was?

The new update is terrible. It’s so glitchy. And the controls are harder to use. The + and - buttons were easier to use than the new scroll bar.

As others have mentioned, the most recent update of the volume and light sliding bar is horrible. It does not provide an easy function while trying to put a child to bed. I’m constantly readjusting the volume as the app says one number but the hatch unit itself says another. Every time I move the bar slightly to increase the volume it goes back to the setting we have for bedtime routine. It never did that before and now I have to manually adjust it on the unit. Please look into this as we use this app every day and night. Thank you.

If you exit the app even for less then a minute, it completely exits and restarts and you have to wait until it loads all over again. It’s super annoying and disappointing.

The app never wants to connect to the hatch. It better to just use the buttons on the actual device.

Updated from a Hatch Rest to a Rest 2, went from daily use to borderline useless. Right takes 3-5 times to turn on , sometimes it doesn’t work so I try placing my palm on 1st go either. App updates are bloated , trying to hawk paid subs. This is the least “plus” experience of Any device I have ever owned. SAD

Updated review: The + and - buttons are back! Now the app is great again! I use it every single day! Original review: The recent update that changed the way to increase or decrease light and sound is not good. Being able to slowly increase or decrease settings one click at a time is very convenient when adjusting things while the baby sleeps. The adjustable bar is harder to fine tune and accidentally tapping higher than intended causes the sound or light to increase rapidly, which can wake a sleeping baby. Not to mention the stress it causes. Please revert back to the old way of increasing and decreasing one click at a time with the + and - buttons.
