  • Major upgrade from the other apps!

I have ignorantly used MyFitnessPal to track macros for years, but was tired of the ads and lack of functionality. Interface, data, usability, and integration with Widgets make this an awesome experience. My nutritionist also said it tracks vitamins and minerals. I rarely write reviews, but I can’t recommend this software enough.

I’m so impressed with everything about this app. Nothing is as precise and user friendly as this one. Excellent resource, and design. I also love the custom recipe feature, makes tracking really fast and easy. Hope it doesn’t change too much in the future because I’m perfectly content with it.

Used the app for over a year now, favorite app by far, no fluff just data. Easy to track and customize your own targets. Successfully tracked 2 cuts and 2 bulks. If you download the app, you might as well get the premium, it’s worth it.

This app has what you need to track the nutrients, minerals and supplements that you are consuming no matter what your current dietary intake is based on. I have had great success tracking from a standard american diet to Paleo, to Keto, to Keto Carnivore. Try it you will like it.

Absolutely love Cronometer! Found it through a nutrition class I took. Much more detail than other apps, super user friendly and love that I can create my own recipes and meals.

After 1st hearing of Cronometer in February 2019 (6 years ago now), there have been very few days of missed entries - and that was only when out of town. I’ve learned a lot - like pay attention to the database that may not test for certain nutrients. Also, after noticing a trend for routinely being low in a specific mineral, figuring out how to correct it. I tell people all the time about Cronometer. Most recently to someone whose husband was in the hospital with high potassium. She seemed grateful & hopeful to have a potential solution to avoid possible future events like this. It could save your life or the life of a loved one.
  • Ok, missing obvious features

The nutrition breakdown is ok. Kind of hard to believe there aren’t a ton of user generated food submissions, though, because the ones that come with it aren’t super broad. Can’t believe how limited the exercises are. They’ve never heard of pushups? Pullups? Sit-ups? Nah just vague time metrics, like anyone doing anything other than cardio can keep track that way. I can see where my fat and carbs come from but not protein? What a strange thing to leave out. And I can set my goals based on percentages or calories but not grams. Like, why? Frustrating the gaps.

I actually love this app, but since some soulless money worshiper is putting ads on an app I pay for you get 1 star. Get it together. This is super annoying.
