Unhappy with the service

I purchased this app in order to be able to code the “unlock all doors” function when the ignition is turned off. Unfortunately, after coding, this function did not work on my BMW. I contacted customer service but they were far from helpful, they told me “I’m sorry, but we cannot help you at this time.” I asked for a refund since I was unable to get the benefit I was looking for, they refused and since then stopped responding to my emails.

BMW model year coverage is a problem.

Trying out on our service bays but quickly running into coverage issues. for example the 750 series coverage starts at year 2008 (does not work on 2007 and earlier UGH!!) where for example 6 series goes back to 2003. Can’t recommend this app without better coverage.

After I purchased the full version of the app, I was able to make all of the changes I wanted to my car. All of those little annoying things that BMW charges you extra for for no reason. Like cornering lights, my mirror is folding and unfolding automatically when I lock and unlock my car, The speed of which my blind Spot monitor starts working. You know simple things like that. Well worth the $50. Would recommend.

Simply the easiest way to fine tune options on your car, some you may not even know it came with. Be careful, read instructions, and double check with forums before making changes and it’s exclusively a positive experience.

I bought this app in November of 2023 or maybe January 2024. I changed my iPhone 12 and downloaded the app to the new iPhone 13 on April 2025. The Same Apple ID I used on the iPhone 12 is the same Apple ID I am using on the 13 BBBBUUUUUT!!!!! the Bimmer Code app is now telling me to buy the application again to use.
So is that how Bimmer Code works every time you upgrade your cellphone you must buy their app all over again ???
