The tool necessary for kids who are more interested in shows on digital devices and dread reading initially to take on and enjoy reading without feeling bored. Very engaging and fun. Great job to the creators of this app.

All my prek - 12th grade students - yes, even high schoolers like to be read to!- love NovelEffect. They always get a choice: with or without the sound effects. Every.Single.Time. They choose sound. They love it! I cannot even fathom getting them as excited about books without the audio enhancements.

This app is absolutely amazing. Kids are so focused on listening to the stories you read when using this app. The sounds are cute, perfectly timed, and not overwhelming. Highly recommend!

The best! We love it in my house and I’ve used it several times to read to the kids class-it was a big hit! I’ve gifted it to the kids teacher and try to spread the word as much as possible. Kids love it, and anything to promote reading and literacy is a win in my book.
I now check if the book is available on the app before I purchase, and I’ve suggested several to add to their ever expanding collection. The kids always ask for books with the music and sound

Limited amount of ebooks available and some books are locked .I will find a book I like on the app and discover that it is either locked or I don’t have the book in real life .😭

My students and I absolutely love using novel effect when I do read alouds. Whenever I pick up a book, my students immediately ask if there’s sounds for that book! Novel effect is a great way to add more excitement to reading!
