    I wanted to write a review. I’m 67. Single. Went thru a lousy divorce a decade ago. Kids pressuring me to get out there. I did try two other sites and lasted less than five days on both of those. Horrible. So tried OurTime. I honestly cannot believe I am posting this. I met several. Some were iffy but OurTime was great about weeding. Then I met Joe. Hmm. Seemed interesting. We ended up meeting for breakfast. Then hiking. Then camping. Well that was 8 months ago and many travel miles and he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met. We both credit OurTime. Thank you. This is a great dating site for older adults.

    I had several filters that the system ignored, some were dealbreakers. The most irritating was the distance filter. I specified 25miles from my home. I was matched to women 50, 60mikes away, some even out of State.

    This is more for the match group overall. I tried one of their other sites and out of the blue wasn’t able to log-in to my account. The response from customer service (when I finally received a response) was that I ‘violated terms…’. Not sure what that meant as the few actual connections I made with real people were all cordial. Then one day I couldn’t get on and that was the response. Nothing else. Feels like a personal vendetta at this point, as I’m now unable to log into any match group sites. Can see from other reviews, there’s a lot of people in the same situation. The cookie cutter response of ‘keeping the platforms safe’ doesn’t work when there was absolutely nothing unsafe about some of our behaviors. Just someone on the other side of the keyboard with a complex, not liking someone one for whatever reason, and now personal connections are lost. Not the only one

    I made a mistake of setting up an account on my computer. I prefer pretty rapidly found out. It was absolutely useless. I got a spinning wheel and nothing ever happened. I could make any changes. I decided I give up. I’m gonna cancel it close and delete my account account. Imagine my surprise when I was prohibited from doing that. I was informed using their help menu that I had to download the app on my iPhone before I could delete it. I sent them a message explaining my frustrations and anger over this. I also told him I’d be leaving them one star review If there is an option to set up an account on a computer, there should be an option to delete it there as well. With all the new changes to iOS, I had great difficulty downloading the app at all from the App Store to some of the new features of the latest iOS. I had to call Apple get walk-through a bunch of different setting changes on my phone before I could download the app. Apparently, the staff decided to block my access. I suppose they were hoping I wouldn’t write a bad review. So now I cannot delete my account and purge my information out of their system. I’m gonna be contacting Apple again and if necessary, I’ll be filing a lawsuit against this company for harvesting my information and preventing me from closing my account. I intend to make this as brutally painful as I possibly can. software is supposed to make your life easier and better. But this sort of behavior locking people into your system and not allowing them to delete their accounts is reprehensible disgusting and abusive. Do not under any circumstances download this app or sign up online. These people are idiots.

    Typed my email wrong and locked out of account. Sent help ticket and then blocked from site. Requested a refund and ignored. Do not use this site!

    I had been messaging with a man for three days, I received a notification that he had sent me message, app showed no message. His photo has disappeared from site. After paying an renewal fee I’m now being charged for additional message charge. Tried contacting customer service, no help.

    Though I enjoyed being able to notice who viewed my site I have been generally disappointed with the site. Maybe I did not promote myself well but I noticed in a couple of months it was the same available and promoted people week in and week out. My success rate at chats, messages, coffee invitations or outings was miserable. A subscriber should never have to pay a fee for an individual who has shown some interest them. So stop trying to get subscribers to pay for those people who don’t have the commitment to pay money to be on the dating platform. Goodbye.
