I’m sure the app itself is great but if you don’t want to pay for the pro version you aren’t able to see the trails! I don’t know how a trail map app would do that :(
  • With every update recording gets worse

App functionality keeps getting worse and worse. Basically only good for seeing and tracking on trails. Ride stats are all over the board - for the same rides. It’s becoming a joke.
  • Too costly

I enjoyed using trail forks, but the new renewal price was too high, and unfortunately trail forks is not cost effective for me anymore. Sad….
  • Glitchy, slow, and buggy

Even if this app were free, the miserable performance of it wouldn’t be acceptable. The fact that it’s a paid app is an insult. They have so much useful trail information but it’s impossible to use when you’re at a trail system because of how poorly the app functions. This unfortunately isn’t new, and the performance continues to decline.
  • Very unreliable not worth the investment

The app is down as often. It is up and functioning as it should be. This is not a GPS or connectivity issue. It is an issue on the Trailforks side. I’m not going to renew my membership.
  • Running poorly since outside buyout

This app has run poorly and my account info didn’t seem to transfer after outside buyout even though charge went up approx 50%?
  • Very few routes

I don’t find this app very helpful for finding routes. I can look at lots of short disconnected trail segments. When using the discover function it show 2 “top routes” and one or two “recommended rides”. There is no obvious way to join these segments to create a ride. The app gets lots of good reviews. I can’t find routes or creat my own - what am I missing?
  • Over charged.

I was charged $11 after one week of the free trial. Then I was charged $57 for the coming year, expiring in Oct 2025. I don’t even want the app and it’s paid in advance. There are plenty of apps that are cheaper and with the same info and maps. This one is not worth $11 hidden fee and $57 a year. They refused a refund for the prepaid year. I have informed me riding group.

Needs some work. Trails work great but lots of dead ends and time outs in the app
  • Ruined?

Used to be excellent. Now very unstable and buggy, even after updates. App shuts down constantly during use. Cannot be relied upon for navigation anymore.
