good but I accidently deleted a folder (the ones that run down the left side of the email page where you store emails). None of the online info on how to retrieve that file helped. Any guidence on this much appreciated. It is a huge drawback that, unlike Apple, there is no one to talk to on the phone.

Loaded the new Outlook. Did not like for a number of reasons. Reverted back to Legacy Outlook. All kinds of trouble getting email setup. No easy 1-2-3 steps with screen shots. Lots of googling to figure it out.

  • Primary Weakness -- incomplete searches with multiple accounts

Overall, I think Outlook does what it needs to do and does it well. I do seem to have challenges in finding email information when I do searches--especially if I don't have the right account selected. I have 4 separate email accounts to keep track of for my work, so It's hard for me to always know which account the original email was received on...

Outlook is SO much easier than Gmail to track long threads in a conversation.

Outlook is my go to e-mail system. I like that I can Zoom in while writing e-mails. My eyesight needs an occasional boost. To the newcomer—it takes a while to figure out the features. Searching e-mails when viewed as “conversations” personally drives me crazy, so I switch out of that mode—which I otherwise love. My advice—stick with the software until you get the hang of it.
