For me -I have learned about cars from owning a few including a truck a sports car and now a compact car, but some things the car knows about itself better and you may only feel a rumbling at lights or see a lesser mpg or have a total recurring sign of distress. These sensors help access via Bluetooth on iOS a obd readout that pinpointed for me when my car was showing limp mode: that I needed a crank position sensor and since it was right I knew what I was dealing with until I could get to the shop. I especially like the live gauges and graphs readouts that present right on your screen in real time and they can be added together to give a better total picture of what your engine is doing . It also allows your value to be tracked against similarly equipped/aged cars and keeps you safely changing the windshield wipers and tires with specific test measures .
Very easy to use

Really easy to just plug in and see what you need! Would be 5-stars, but there is just SO much blocked behind a subscription, even after buying the physical item.
Love it!

I use this FIXD scanner regularly on my 3 cars. It gives you the diagnostic malfunction codes and allows you to clear the Check Engine light, if it’s something minor. Love it!👍

So easy to use. Download the app, plug in the module, start your engine and run a scan.
If your check engine light comes on, run a scan then you can clear check engine light with one tap in the app.
The only negative is that the app requires entering the vehicle mileage over and over. Not each and every time but often enough to cause frustration.
I recommend that Fix’d figure out a way for the module to automatically detect vehicle mileage.
I’ve been using it for nearly two years on my first vehicle and I purchased a second module for my second vehicle several months ago.
Free does not mean free

I signed up for the “free” seven day trial for premium features. We were in the process of purchasing a used car for our son and used our device to run diagnostics on each of the vehicles we test drive. I chose to get the premium to give me cost estimates for whatever issues were found. We settled on a can within one day and I immediately reached out to fixd to cancel. I was told that the order was cancelled. 7 days later a charge for $108 dollars shows up on my account. When I reached out to fixd, I was told that I would have to reach out to Apple for my refund. I have no problems with the scanner. My problem is with the SCAMMING. After I posted the incident to social media, several friends mentioned similar experiences. I will continue to use the device but will ignore any other “offer” this company advertises. You should do the same, as you will be charged no matter what.
Good Product, Responsive Support

Bought the scanner when shopping for used cars. App connects to the device quickly and it’s easy to see the information you’re looking for. AI Mechanic feature looks interesting.
Nice to be able

I have multiple OBDII scanners so this isn’t unique but it is very valuable to be able to do scans in impromptu situations. I was on the GSP and the MIL came on. I was able to scan it right there. Very useful.
Might as we’ll go to autozone

This scanner is horrible and the paid service is even worse. Would not recommend and would rather buy something else. Please be advised of false advertising
FIXD ROCKS!

A terrific platform! Honestly, the fixed app is something every single person should have in their arsenal.
