  • Great Car customizing app

    By Jtpanda5
This allowed me to change the number of flashes on my 2020 Tacoma. Something the dealership wanted $60 to change for me. Awesome App! Would definitely recommend!
  • 2007 Prius

    By 2007 Prius
Beware, the Carista OBD and app are mostly useless for a 2007 Prius. This car is not supported for any custom features or advanced diagnostics. Real disappointed with it.
  • Seems to work for showing basic codes.

    By Prootwadl
It seems to work for showing basic codes on my 2007 Toyota Prius, But I wish it would ask for confirmation if you accidentally hit the clear codes button. I mistakenly touched it while trying to screenshot it, so now I’m gonna have to wait for the code to appear again.
  • Great App!

I’ve been updating control modules on my vehicles for years with Ford and Mopar vehicles and always had to use the wired OBD adapter plugged in to my laptop. I’ve always been an Apple guy so in order to use the software I had to either run bootcamp or virtual windows on my MacBook. It’s been a necessary evil to accomplish the changes I wanted to make. Carista absolutely blows that away. I never knew this type of setup existed and thought it was too good to be true when I stumbled across it on a forum. Coming from how I’ve always had to do things in the past I’m extremely happy with this product. Lots of customization options and based on the current beta they have plenty more customizable options coming soon!
  • Outstanding product and support.

I bought this to customize my 2012 bmwz4 sdrive 3.0. Worked perfectly. Great tech support for my questions. Good value.
  • Doesn’t properly support obdlink mx+

    By Nimdae
Claims to support obdlink Mx+. Latest update notes even state improved support. However it keeps telling me to update the firmware with the obdlink app. Obdlink app says it’s on the latest firmware. I would pay to use the paid features of this app but I’m not willing to pay for yet another dongle to do so.

  • Not worth it.

    By A F*cking Dragon
TL;DR this is a waste of money and you should invest in something better. If you’re reading on, you’re probably wondering why I think this. I got this to tweak my MK7 GTI and it worked decently for what I wanted to do. The customizing options are pretty limited and there is no long coding access which many similar adaptors offer. I got what I wanted from the trail and didn’t pay for anything after that. After this I assumed the adapter would be useful for resetting my oil change reminders and clearing fault codes like any cheap generic OBD scanner can do nowadays. WRONG. If you don’t pay for a vastly overpriced annual subscription, every feature of this app is behind a paywall. The only thing you can do is clear fault codes but even this is restricted as you can’t see what the codes actually are. I wish I could’ve returned this but by the time I found out it was a scam I was stuck with it. Now I have a useless adaptor and a useless app. If the devs would at least let it function as a code scanner without requiring a subscription, I’d be happier but as of now this is something I’m encouraging you to avoid.
  • Excellent and invaluable app!

I had been at my wit’s end trying to enable certain features in my car that I felt certain were available. The dealership was no help; the manufacturer was even worse. I took a chance by buying the Carista OBD with its one-month free trial, and together they solved every single problem I had.
  • Works welll

    By David9962000
You can disable many annoying beeps, features and restrictions. And just for that, it’s worth it. Works well on my 2018 Golf GTI.
