  • 60% of the time works. Apartment relies on it and I can’t get in 40% of the time.

I genuinely hate this product. Especially wallcall that uses this ring app. Always problems. Cannot get inside front doors of my apartment so always stranded at night.

App is slow and sometimes doesn’t work properly, particularly on modes.

It’s just better if you buy a different security camera than pay for this, it’s useless difficult to send times that you want to be notified and absolutely ridiculous. Deep into the app. You have to go to set them. Somebody needs to get fired.

They want to change you for recording and everything else and you can’t change from home to away modes with just a basic plan they want to change 100 per year to have pretty much nothing will definitely be looking for other options

For the longest time now I have been having issues with activating and deactivating motion on my cameras. It never notifies me of the motion detection and constantly says it’s on. I try to turn it off and some of them I go back into my setting and it’s automatically turned back on (as if I never turned them off) but still no notification of motion detection.
  • Hate the update

Why would ring get rid of the home away disarm feature? I have a stick up camera and door bell i can’t set to home anymore so that it disarms the camera for the stick up cam feature i have kids and when we walk to the living room the chime goes off fix it i don’t need notifications every time we go into or are in the kitchen

At first it would give me notifications on my iPhone watch but now it doesn’t. It shows that’s the software is downloaded on the phone and watch but only gives notifications on the phone very irritating.
  • Latest update kills mode function

I still have a protect account, but latest update has made my automations button disappear. Online help says you need a protect account to turn them on, which I do and the account is currently recording. So it’s an app issue.
  • Blink is better

The ring camera has major flaws, especially when it’s supposed to make life easier. My front door camera constantly disconnects no matter what I do. I have to disconnect everything for it to connect. When I shouldn’t have to. I shouldn’t have to continue to deal with that when I pay for something that should work the first time around especially when it costs money. Blink doesn’t do that and I have never had a problem with them. Get blink.
