The new revamped app is awful, the layout is overly complicated and contains ads. What a terrible update
  • Cannot have other audio playing while using app?

This app entirely unusable for me because it cuts off my audio playing from any other app (Spotify, etc) as soon as I open any recipe with a video! So frustrating. I’m cancelling my subscription due to this.

I LOVE this app. I was stuck in a rut, not knowing what to cook every night and eating the same stuff every night. Not anymore. I’ve tried 3 new recipes this week and loved each one. This app is amazing, absolutely worth the subscription.
  • Easy to Print

Too many online recipe sites make printing almost impossible, sometimes demanding that you download special printer software. NYT makes printing a snap. My only complaint as it does not print the photo of the finished item.

Unlike recipes I’ve gotten from other places, every recipe I’ve tried from NYT Cooking works! Thank you!

  • Scrumptious.

I cut sugar by 1/4 C or 1/2 C. I didn’t dare cut more for fear of ruining the structure of the cake. It was still sweet enough. I also used a less sweet cream cheese and whipped cream frosting which was also lighter in texture - but still has the lovely cream cheese flavor that pairs perfectly with carrot cake. Huge hit!
  • The best cooking app

The only bad thing I can say is that I rely on this so much I hardly ever consult my cookbooks anymore.
