Ads in subscription version?!

Long time subscriber here, I love the recipes and the UI has gotten better over time. A lot of the quibbles I had with it have been addressed already. Unfortunately, I’m docking two stars for the ads in the app. I have a paid subscription, and I feel like ads are uncalled for. Get rid of the ads!
Ads in a paid app?!

I’ve been a subscriber for a long time-and was surprised to see ads in the app! Why?!

1.5 spices with exception of cayenne. No zucchini. After salt & rinse eggplant, dry carefully and leave in hot pan without moving around until well browned on first side then move around. Couple big cloves diced garlic. About double roughly chopped fresh ginger. Chicken broth as liquid-but like 3 cups. Delicious!! Better second day.
Please fix NYT main app to cooking app handoff 😩

Please 😫! Every time I see a delicious recipe recommending in the main NYT app, I click it - it takes me to the page on the web (via safari, in my case), wherein I am asked if I would like to open the page in the NYT cooking app, which I already have downloaded. Yes! I would love to. Alas, it takes me to the App Store to download the app. Because I already have it downloaded, I click the “open” app button in the App Store. I get taken to the NYT cooking app homepage. The recipe I was looking for never pulls up. I want to kms. Please dev, fix, pls.

I love this app but I have a question and I don’t know how else to get a hold of you all. Can you put together a collection of recipes with whole grains? (Maybe there already is one?) Thanks!
New Revision is Hateful

It used to be that when you clicked on a new recipe in the Times, it would take you straight to the recipe in the App - now it asks you if you want to open it in the APP or online. If you ask it to take you to the App - it dumps you into the App and you have to search for the stupid recipe. Extra irritating steps AND worse, doesn’t work. Boo - hiss. Don’t these changes get tested first? It worked fine before.
Delicious!

I omitted the cheddar and cumin, added dried parsley and 1/3 cup Panko crumbs. Sautéed in Canola oil as directed. The burgers were great, with a squeeze of lime, topped with mayo/mustard sauce, on a green salad. We loved this meal!
