  • Pretty but can’t search

    By justaweatherchecker
I’ve been a long time user/member of epicurious. One of the things that I love about that FREE app is that I can search my recipe box. How does the NYT cooking, a paid subscription, not have that important and simple feature??
  • Not working

    By remysar
I liked the app, but it’s not working, I’m paying it for nothing! I can’t have access to it I tried everything when I do restore the app it tells me you can’t find my account, so I try to subscribe an account and then it tells me I can’t because I already have an account but I can’t have access to anything. I logged out/in it’s still not working and I deleted the app to download it back but it does same again. And tried both a couple of time! I lost so much time/energy, and I’m paying for nothing so I give up!
  • Reliable go to cook book... sources wanting

    By Cliousclat
This is a great cook book. I wish the time was more realistic. I’m a decent cook. I know where everything is in my kitchen. Multi-tasking while cooking works. But the recipes take longer than indicated. It makes a big difference when a recipe says 2 hours and you start at 5. Dinner ready at, not 7, but 8.

For the past month this app has not worked. It crashes half the time and isnt useable. It also won’t let me save recipes!!! I get an error message every time- I’ve updated my phone, the app, everything and it doesn’t fix it!!
  • Crashed, won’t allow me to save, and all recipes saved are gone

    By Kre8ngJane
Worked great for months. Recently I tried to save something and it gave me an error message 403. Today when I opened the app all my previously saved recipes were gone and I got the same error message when I tried again to save. So disappointed because I was enjoying using the app so much.
  • Worked like a charm

Recipe is precise. Straining is important for silky texture. I added hazelnut extract instead of vanilla. I also forgot to tent the pots and all was well, so don’t lose your mind if you forgot! Silky, decadent, and not overly sweet!
  • Fabulous app!

This has been my go-to cookbook throughout quarantine. Favorites: no-knead bread for a wonderfully easy and satisfying crusty peasant bread, Swedish Almond Fika for tea cake and Olive Oil Challah for our weekly egg bread. Worth the price of admission- Go forth and bake!

I made this today for the first time, and my husband RAVED about it. It’s delicious, healthy, and I will definitely make this many more times.
