I am not getting the specific notifications from my topics that I toggled to get. Please fix ASAP!
  • Erratic scrolling, barely legible text

I have tried really hard to not complain because I believe strongly in supporting local journalism. But the Detroit News makes it really really hard to not complain. Their app can’t scroll smoothly, and I am constantly being jumped back to the top or rows below because (best guess) the in-app ads don’t render correctly. I keep getting pop-ups to subscribe even though I’m a logged-in paid subscriber. And the dark mode renders links as red text against a brown background, making them all but unreadable.

I never realized how biased this paper is! This is not a newspaper, it’s an entire editorial piece supporting Harris
  • Ok app, but one annoyance

When I get to the end of an article, it auto scrolls down to advertisements before I’m able to finish reading. Annoying and pointless

I usually jump right to the Sports section!! I believe that the Detroit News is easier to read because of the way the sports news is organized. And the coverage is from High School through the Pros. I often will also scan the Freep Sports. They each have a different slant. They both are good reading.
