Within the hour, you’ll have everything off your mind and neatly organized—from routine tasks to your biggest life goals—and you can start focusing on what matters today. “Things offers the best combination of design and functionality of any app we tested, with nearly all the features of other power user applications and a delightful interface that never gets in the way of your work.” —Wirecutter, The New York Times KEY FEATURES • Your To-Dos Your basic building block is the almighty To-Do—each a small step toward a great accomplishment. You can add notes, tag it, schedule it, and break it down into smaller steps. • Your Projects Create a Project for any big goal, then add the to-dos to reach it. Use headings to structure your list as you outline your plan. There’s also a place to jot down your notes, and a deadline to keep you on schedule. • Your Areas Create an Area for each sphere of your life, such as Work, Family, Finance, and so on. This keeps everything neatly organized, and helps you see the big picture as you set your plans in motion. • Your Plan Everything on your schedule is neatly laid out in the Today and Upcoming lists, which show your to-dos and calendar events. Each morning, see what you planned for Today and decide what you want to do. The rest is down to you :) MORE THINGS TO LOVE As you dive deeper, you’ll find Things packed with helpful features. Here are just a few: • Reminders — set a time and Things will remind you. • Repeaters — automatically repeat to-dos on a schedule you set. • This Evening — a special place for your evening plans. • Calendar integration — see your events and to-dos together. • Tags — categorize your to-dos and quickly filter lists. • Quick Find — instantly find to-dos or switch between lists. • Magic Plus — drag the + button to insert to-dos anywhere in a list. • Share extension — create to-dos with content from other apps. • Widgets — see lists on your home/lock screens. • Mail to Things — forward an email to Things; now it’s a to-do. • Markdown — structure & style your notes. • And much more! MADE FOR IPHONE Things is tailored to the iPhone with deep system integrations as well. A great example is the Share extension, which allows you to create to-dos with content from other apps, such as a link to a website you want to get back to. You can also enjoy a beautiful dark mode at sunset, connect your calendars, add a variety of widgets, create to-dos via Siri, import from Reminders—Things can do it all! There’s even Shortcuts integration if you want to automate your workflows. MADE FOR APPLE WATCH Things comes with a great app for Apple Watch. • This is the one

I’ve used countless different apps, both popular and lowkey, to manage tasks in my personal life but this is the one that I’ve finally settled on. It has pretty much all the main features that I look for and without being too flashy or needlessly complex. Suggestion: Instead of just the normal strike-through bullets used to track tasks, I would love to see numbered lists added. I like attacking tasks in specific order and having that added visual would be dope.

I’ve tried every todo list app on the App Store, and I swear things 3 is the best. The app is so buttery smooth, it’s addicting to use. Everything about this app is so well thought out. And I must say: the app icon design, particular in dark mode, is the best *ever*
  • Add “Get Things” on your to-do list!

After trying out the top three task managers, it was Things that won me over most. For one, the minimalist design is gorgeous. Integration with Apple Calendar is wonderful. If you live in an Apple ecosystem and don’t have to contend with Windows or Android, I think you’ll wonder how you got along with it.

There is a bit of a learning curve to this app, but it’s so worth it. The UI has *so* many thoughtful touches in it. This app is not the reason I switched to iOS, but it might make me buy a Mac laptop. D*mmit.

So far, it’s wonderful, but I would love to see a way to add different color fonts to make it pop. For example, "IMPORTANT: CALL THE DOCTOR" in red so it stands out more. Thank you!

I have been using Things for years and I love how it focuses on a few guided folders like the “upcoming”, “today” etc. I would love to see an option to add images sometime in the future. Overall, fantastic task management tool!

I started using this in the fall and have not looked back. It is a great way to keep my classes/ homework, research tasks, and personal lists all in one place. Being able to schedule when to dos appear on certain days is a game changer. I love having all my lists in one place. I use this in conjunction with google calendar. I was able to sync the calendar so I can also view events. 100% worth the one-time investment for the phone and Mac app!!

I love the app. The thing that would take it over the top for me would be the ability to add colors. It would really make it come alive, and add a whole new layer of organization. Please consider this!
  • Probably the most thoughtful to do app

Been with Things since 2018. Originally I switched from Omnifocus, since I wanted something simpler. I have tried so many other tools since but always came back To Things. The standout features for me are the way due dates and defer dates are handles as well as the possibility to assign dates to projects. The UI is just so clean. My only criticism is the way tags can be viewed on my iPhone - Some more Powerful filtering would be helpful.

The Things 3 app needs to give you the ability to add Color to particular tasks to make them stand out, please!
