The app needs to stop and ask for directions. It can’t locate anything.

Excellent app for all levels. Quickly identifying any object once you learn to use it. Very simple to use and intuitive
  • Music plays even when set to off.

Why can't you fix the "Music" in your app.? For the past several years, when the music is set to off; when I reopen Star Walk 2 after it being completely closed, the music plays for a second or two.
  • Too many notifications, can’t turn them off

I get multiple notifications per day from this app and turning all the notifications off in the settings doesn’t do that. Plus there are no detailed options for the few events i would like to know about, but you’ll happily let me know every time a planet or star gets close to the moon. Test this stuff instead of just letting it fester for years. I’m going back to Night Sky. Edit: the dev has helpfully replied that notifications are handled by the system. I’m aware of that. However, I’m referring to the choice of specific notifications that is supposedly offered in the app settings. I turned the “events” off under the notifications settings, which i assume would not notify me every time a constellation or planet or literally anything is approaching another celestial body. Imagine my surprise when i keep getting those notifications and other for events. Huh. It’s like the option doesn’t work.

I’ve been using this app for years and have found it the best. In a class of it’s own.
  • Hard to use

I found almost impossible to set for the desired day and time. The scrolling settings were much too sensitive to us on my iPhone. Frustrating.

10/10! What is more awesome than an app where you can point your camera to the sky and it tells you exactly what you’re looking at?! Its also very user-friendly, which is always a huge plus! Definitely impressed with this app.

This is an app I keep going back to. The comet addition is up to date and helps me to find exciting cosmic events in the sky.
