iAlert provides people with an easy and convenient way of accessing their local safety and emergency information provided by various sources such as the ACT Emergency Services Agency. This includes: A user friendly map interface that shows the user what the event is and where it is taking place (whether it be a car accident, fire, controlled back burning etc.), with a detailed description of what the event involves. A fire danger meter that informs the user what the current fire danger level is, and whether or not there may be a total fire ban in place. A list of all the current warnings being publicly provided by your local emergency service, including any warnings that are announced via social media such as Twitter.
