  • Works but has its issues with little to no help

So this app works and does reveal blocked numbers. That’s a fact. One issue is you have to set it up properly and read all their instructions and even their help topic articles to see that live voicemail must be shut off, wifi calling turned off, and if you follow the instructions and then activate it by dialing the number, it forwards your ignored or rejected calls only to their number which reveals the caller ID and sends it back to your app with the number unmasked. One problem is I don’t receive the call back so once it’s unmasked it just seems to disconnect them and they have no option to leave me a voicemail or anything, so it’s too late to answer their call once revealed, but not a big deal…it’s unmasked so I could call them back if I want to. Many negative reviews about cancelling subscriptions but it is fairly easy to do. To stop the subscription you just go to your App Store and look up your subscriptions and cancel it. Then you need to stop forwarding your number to them by using the code to stop conditional call forwarding with your provider. For Verizon you dial *73 send and wait to hear the tones and you’re done. It’s all fairly easy and it works. My issue with this is that I have Verizon and my callers no longer get an option to leave a voicemail ever. When calling me with this app active, after approximately 6 rings it just hangs up on them. It may be forwarding the call but it sounds like it hangs up and there’s zero voicemail option or greeting. There is also NO way to set it up. When I go to voicemail settings everything is turned on yet nothing works and I can no longer receive voicemails while using this app. I’ve emailed and messaged support (which states 3-4 day responses) and have not heard back. It’s been 5 days and my 7 day trial will be up soon. If I don’t hear back within 1 day I’ll just have to cancel the app unfortunately. I’d most keep it if I could get voicemails to work. I’ve read every article they provide to help and nothing fixes this issue because it’s just not there. I’ve removed and reinstalled the app to no avail. So with that in mind, the app does unmask calls which is great! That’s why I give it 4 stars. It would be 5 and I’d consider keeping it if I could get support to help my voicemail to work either with my provider (Verizon) or even if they’d set me up with TrapCall voicemail…but I can’t get a hold of anyone to help as of day 5. If they do, I will change and update this review!

I’m definitely stamping this as the best blocked call app! It reveals blocked calls , it gives you a great blocking call option. It filters your calls for spam and private numbers. It informs you when someone calls you even if there on your block list or if the call never came through. It’s amazing!
  • Only worked when app was open

Had this app for a week and the only time it would populate any information was when I had the app open. Never populated any info about unknown callers otherwise. Since you don’t know when those calls will come in it seemed pretty useless as I don’t just leave apps open in the background. Also had issues getting voicemails. They would show up hours after the fact.
  • Loved the service, but 50% price increase is crazy

Really enjoyed the service (even with the number lookup that didn’t seem to do anything) and have used it for probably the last two years. However I just received notice the price for the monthly sub jumped from $10 to $15 and that’s insane. I’ll take my chances on anonymous callers for that.

The app will not work for me. I keep getting restricted calls and the app is not unmasking them allowing me to see the number.

I downloaded this app in 2019 when I kept receiving over 100 unknown calls every night. And using the app I was able to find out it was this guy that I ended things with. I felt super safe with the app , however after much money invested in subscriptions ; it’s a fail. At first I noticed it logged me out everyday, but I was like ok I could live with logging in everyday no harm there. But then I realized that it stop tracking data, stopped unmasking unknown calls , blocking spam calls and now it freeze every time I go to the app. Great things always come to an end I suppose. Farewell, TrapCall as I won’t be renewing my subscription. I suggest people find a different app as this is a lost cause now.

Hello everyone. I downloaded this app when I had a number but later I changed my number and I couldn’t even get the account back. They charge me twice already for some service I didn’t even use. I deleted the app and check my email and they said that it was increasing the price for something I have no source to use. So I contacted the main page but I never got no email or no one to follow up with me to change the number on the account. I want to report it to Apple and I am finding out how to do that. I rate this app 0.1 out of 10
