My first time using the app I used a Pomodoro timer and mirror to my TV and the clock sound really helped me stay focus and be aware when I was going for a distractive a distractive thought or thing to do, the only thing I couldn’t really hear the bell when the time was up otherwise it was a very productive experience.
  • Useful but some more basic features needed

It’s usefull to log tasks but some features I wish existed- - able to edit the time logged sometimes I miss setting the timer or sometime I miss turning it off. I want accurate tracking which I can’t as I can’t edit the logs - able to add tasks for the day add it automatically shows up in the timer tab. Now the checklist of tasks have to be separately added in the timer which is cumbersome - ability to edit habits etc of previous days - use of projects and tags is not clear and it is not linked well to the timer they seem as separate apps - an optional popup which breaks the streak if you leave the app and check other apps on your phone - very imp required browser based web integration with all app features there - need more sound options - $35 is very expensive for my budget currently subscribed by mistake but now continuing to use it would be great to have these features Thanks!
  • No login available for the App

It is useful but very limited since there is no login available on the app. This makes it impossible to sync with an existing account created online from a laptop.
  • I like it but not the spam

I really liked this app. I paid for Pro for a year, but decided not to renew. It keeps sending me notifications to come back and use the app, but there’s no way to turn them off. They also aren’t truthful, saying I haven’t used the app in over 7 days when I have. I only want notifications for the timers only, not spam messages.

You can’t customize the break lengths or number of “short” sessions before a ”long” break… Immediately uninstalled! I’d use my phones timer before paying $30 annually to set specific intervals. ALARM VOLUME is also a “premium” feature LOL
  • I really want to love this app, but…

I love the interface and ease of use in changing the time of a session. I use it on my phone all of the time, but was excited to be able to use it on my new MacBook Pro. However, I just added the app to my new laptop and despite setting the ticking sounds to “none,” every time I restart the Focus Keeper app, the horrible ticking sounds come back. Also, I can’t find any way to add this to the Control Center in the menu bar and I don’t want to have to open my browser to use an extension since the whole point of using this app is to help me focus and being in a browser can be distracting. Definitely not worth $35/yr. Focus Keeper — please fix these issues and add more user friendly features to make this app worth a subscription.
  • Usual overreach of enablers for what should be a simple timer

Very helpful to stay focused. Enough settings to change things up, but not distracting.
  • Great app for staying on task

I love using this app for staying on task while doing homework, but after an app update removed features I cared about, like live timer update on my lock screen and widget support, I left a review (that I seem to have misplaced) on this app. After I returned to the app in hopes that my concerns were addressed, I found all the features I was missing returned, so I am updating my review to rate Focus Keeper 5 stars. Thanks!
