In the old version of the app you could unskip rain skip. Please bring that back. Most of the time weather is wrong.

  • 30 dollar upsell for heat wave water adjustment

Ridiculous to charge that much for what should be a feature already in a “weather controlled” system.

I have been a raving fan and recommended this to anyone who asked how I had such a full lawn. I purchased a new unit when we moved. Asking for $30 for Heat Wave adjustments will make me hesitate, or at least add a caveat that they’re getting greedy. The software is supposed to water based off of how dry your lawn is, which should be accounting for warmer weather. How is it not a bait and switch the suddenly charge to enable a heat wave “boost” - aka more watering when it’s hot. Either this was poorly marketed or is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
  • Good hardware - app is worthless

While we have had success in running the hardware, the app is clearly either a bad afterthought, or the project that all the worst engineers are assigned to. Basic on/off control is not reliable with the app - app is all glitz without the solid underlying infrastructure to support it. Want list of bells and whistles that may work? This app is for you. Want an app that you can trust to work? Look elsewhere.

I have loved this sprinkler system for a long time. Today when I opened the app and was offered to pay $30 to handle heat waves, I was amazed. If you can’t build your business off selling very expensive controllers then I’ll find somebody who can. I don’t know a Tesla because I don’t like paying for software upgrades to my car. (For many other reasons too). The same applies here.

Paid $199 for a device that’s supposed to monitor the weather and adjust your irrigation accordingly …then you have to pay in-app option of $49 to make sure it runs your sprinklers when it’s too hot.

The ease and flexibility of this system has made watering my lawn enjoyable. No more fumbling with complex manual controls. I can change my watering schedule on the fly and it’s smart enough not to water the lawn when it’s raining. I’m glad I bought and installed this system when I had my sprinklers installed!
