  • The create document button is in the way…

There are some features I really wish the app had. I would love to be able to more easily send or move documents to other users or accounts registered in the app. I have a few accounts on my app like for personal and school, and I wish I could move documents between them or copy them from one account to another. What I find most frustrating is the placement of the Create New Document button (the colorful + sign). It’s at the right bottom corner, which covers the options button (the …) for the documents. Which means if I have a lot of documents and they reach the bottom of the screen, the bottom document can’t be deleted, renamed, moved, etc because I cannot access the options for that document. I have to open the document and close it to bring it to the top of my recents list. I shouldn’t have to do this.

sheets is a pretty good spreadsheet program and I love the fact that I can access my files from anywhere. However, it arbitrarily deletes my spreadsheets and I don’t know why. I also can’t get any help from Google. It means doing a lot of back up and copies just to try to keep my data safe

Update to bad review I left previously. Restarted my phone and reloaded the Sheets app. NOW things like the query function are working as expected. That’s good news. I still can’t get a script that scrolls the spreadsheet to work the same in the Sheets app as it does in the browser. Can’t have everything.

Google Sheets and Google Docs are excellent tools for notes and documents. I would be lost without them.

Use Excel. Way easier, faster, and simpler for others to use and make changes
