I use Google Docs every single day. It helps me organize and optimize work and research with simple accessibility.

Unnecessarily difficult to access docs

I use Google Docs for all sorts of things! I really love how easy it is to share and collaborate across iPhones, Androids, Macs, PCs, and other devices as well! Everyone sees the same thing. It’s amazing. I use it for grocery lists, planning vacations, tracking my goals, and so much more. It’s SO helpful to coordinate in real time, and to have my docs on my phone and computer. The app is pretty user friendly, but there are a few features that I really wish I could access on the app. Like “select all.” Unfortunately, some options are only available through desktop. Most people probably don’t even know they exist, so they’d give it 5/5. For me though, it’s a common enough frustration that I’m giving it 4/5.

I don't much understand technology or how to navigate emails, the internet, etc. What I do know is when I want to keep a document or anything else, I hit DOCS and it always appears there and when I open DOCS anytime later, what I saved is always there!! Thanks, Mike B.

Trying to create or edit docs on this app feels like pulling teeth. The delay on typing is multiple seconds, making it so I can type out entire sentences, and then have to sit and wait for the sentence to finish typing before my eyes, and it only seems to get worse with prolonged use. It’s a great app for when I just need to look at one of my docs on the go, but for anything beyond that, it needs major work.

I’ve wrote over ten small books for myself, and also a D&D campaign. Google docs is great for writing and has a lot of features to help with whatever you are doing
