It’s a very in depth course but I can’t access my courses that I’m enrolled in. I completed 2 courses and have 6 more to go. I was at the beginning of course 3. It’s a great course but this is definitely a problem that really should be addressed. I looked online to see if there was something I could do but it seems like it’s a reoccurring issue on Coursera’s end.

Keeps logging out. I have to log in every single time. Even if the app was in the background and not really closed. So annoying!!

I am trying to make a payment before my subscription is canceled, but I cannot and I am having a hard time getting in contact with somebody to process my payment and I am just about through with the modules and would hate to lose my work
  • Half baked app

I love learning and have been actively working toward a certain certification. This has been frustrating, however, since the app is constantly crashing and keeping me from finishing my assignments. Every time I log into the app (unfortunately I am not exaggerating), I struggle with getting the app to work properly. This wasn’t the case the first two weeks I used the app, so I’m not sure what changed. In addition, the sections are quite short and brief. The professionals expanding upon what is talked about in the section are often answering the same questions the virtual teacher has just taught without providing much additional information. I was super stoked about this when I first started, thinking the subject was much simpler than I expected. However, when the unit test came up, I realized just how lost I was. There is no question/assignment support or help. You can’t talk to other students taking the course and see if they caught something you may have missed. The practice modules are incredibly unhelpful as far as making you remember where items are supposed to go. If the chart pops up with blanks, it will give you about three seconds before the answer box will glow green along with the correct pairing. Just not practical if you’re trying to remember these things for yourself. I also expected to be able to fill out the whole chart and not just one box and that be the end of my test. I also think there are just not enough practical tests before moving to the next topic. I’ve spent more time outside of Coursera googling how I am supposed to do formulas and tables during tests than I have in the app. I’d love to see a better version of this app. It has some good knowledge for a relatively decent price, but I don’t feel I’m getting my money’s worth when I can’t access the app or when I’m so far from prepared for quizzes I initially believed I had excellent notes and studied for. I just don’t see how a company would be confident in hiring someone with a Coursera certification and them be competent enough given the extent of this service.

  • No Dark Mode in Desktop

Great app but I have to use a third party app on my desktop because I have TBI and white screen flashes trigger migraines but there’s no dark mode on the web app. I use a third party on the desktop browser to do that. Great content though and it’d be 5 stars if I could use my browser with dark mode.
