Description

** App Store's Editor's Choice ** *From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.* As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures. Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky! ** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. ** Features: - 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase. - Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way. - Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition). - 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way! - Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

App taught my kid to read. She was a bit more advanced but using this app along with reading to her nightly, she started reading at 3.75 years old. She is 12 now and I whole heartedly recommend this app.

My daughter uses a speech device. We use this game to teach the spelling nd location of words in her talker.

I tried this app for free while it was on Amazon fire tablet for kids. My daughter loves the creatures. So now that she is doing spelling and sight words in kindergarten I thought I would buy it here. I paid $29 for 300 plus words. First the app crashes constantly when you try to open it for the first time. Then most of the simple words are not there like pop, hot and fox. Like what? I was using this for reading and spelling. All the short vowel sound words should be on here. Instead the have hard long words that small kids don’t even need to know yet. I may contact apple for an uninstall and refund. This is bull.
  • Best apps for kids learning and fun

I’m a middle school math teacher so when I was looking for great ways for my daughter to learn, I found Endless. We adore them all - my daughter loves them, which is more important but she has no idea the immense education she’s getting as well, which I think is the best. The fact that it has the spelling, phonics, and fun videos where kids are also learning sentence structure just blows me away. Thanks for taking fun education to a whole new level! I usually don’t buy in apps but this is the best money I’ve ever spent on the Endless apps.

My child brought to my attention that the game has “boys” “liking” each other and a “boy” in a dress along with some other inappropriate things that are definitely NOT for children
